The entertainment team are very friendly and make you feel welcome and included they have fun activities for you to get involved with and they all have amazing kind personalities especially Omar he made the holiday more enjoyable and he shared a passion of football with me

this hotel is really good, the staff are amazing and really helpful. entertainment team are brilliant (omar) is really good and passionate about his job. he went above and beyond to make the guest entertained. i really enjoyed the food in the hotel there was always something to eat. the rooms were amazing no problems with cleanliness and were always cleaned to perfection. going back to omar he was superb and such a nice character to have around the hotel much appreciation to him

Been here for 6 days out of 14 and honestly been so relaxed. Plenty of things for the children to do by themselves and with the animation team (if you get the chance to see Ace do his card magic - it’s amazing). Pool and beach area great as is the food and evening entertainment. There’s even a football pitch available everyday too! I would return

As a family we have been going on holiday to Tunisia for quite a few years, but this was the first time that we had stayed at the Venus Beach Splashworld. The main reason we booked the Venus Beach Hotel was mainly for the Waterpark, and I can definitely say it didn't fail to keep us entertained for the 2 weeks we stayed. 👌👍 The slides are great to fill your days with fun and laughter, and they truly help to keep you cool in the Tunisian heat. At times, you might find yourself having to wait a few minutes for an inflatable ring, and the waterpark staff always make sure that inflatables are past-on so everyone gets to enjoy the slides. The majority of the big slides need inflatables, but there are also slides which require no inflatables, and a mat slide. The waterpark opens at 10am till 5.30pm, with people able to use the pools between these times, with the slides being open in two periods, first period from 10am to 12.30pm, and the second period from 2pm till 5.30pm everyday. The waterpark staff are amazing! and always there to help. They are making sure you are using the slides correctly, keeping you safe, and all day long launching you down the slides having to cope with the Tunisian heat. They add fun and laughter, and truly help to make your holiday special. Thank you Guys and Girls! 💙❤️ The waterpark is clean, having toilets, showers and a small drinks station inside, and there is the younger children's waterpark area, which has it's own slides and pool which we used a few times to cool down in 😄 Just a note - the areas around the pools get hot through the day 🔥 "like walking on hot coal!" Don't forget your flip flops 😄 Also, the main pool in the waterpark is quite deep near where the slides come down, so be mindful, and please read on about the depth of the "actual" hotel pool, which is just outside the waterpark. I will write about this straight away. There is a reasonable sized pool for the hotel which is open all day, early till late. It's situation just outside of the waterpark in front of a pool bar, and food bar. Note - the food bar only opens briefly around 3.30pm - 4pm for pizzas, and nothing else. There is a small pool in front of the bar for small children, and it's probably best that there is. The hotel pool is 2.6metres deep at it's deepest point 🙈 and even though the pool depth gradually gets shallower towards the children's pool, it's not until you get to the last metre or two does it become shallow enough to stand up, and I'm not short! I'd definitely recommend inflatable to play in the pool, and if you are not a great swimmer don't forget the armbands, even maybe adult armbands 😄🙈 The depth of the pool is unnecessary, and it does add a negative side to my review, but also positively made me swim more, getting the exercise in 🙈💪😄 Personally, I'd fill the pool with concrete levelling it off around 1.2 - 1.4metres deep so it's safer and more people feel happier to use it. Great all inclusive hotel for family's. All the staff are so freindly and work hard to ensure you have the best holiday. The animation team are best I have ever come across on holiday. Getting to know your name and make sure get everyone involved with lots of activities. 100% welcoming at all times. Great water park & pools. Good range of food with variaty most nights. Food tasted good and was freshly prepped. Only down side to the hotel is outdated bathrooms and the beds are very hard. Only 2 minor negitives against alot of positives. Would 100% reccomend this to any family looking for a action packed holiday.

So you're thinking about booking this hotel because of the water park but you're concerned about the 3 star rating? Well this review is for you. Rest assured, the water park is great fun! There are over ten slides altogether and they have a great mix of gentle and white knuckle types. The slides are well staffed and lifeguards are good at their jobs and very attentive. The only downside is that there are not enough rings which can lead to a lot of waiting around when the hotel is busy. The cobra slide was our favourite! Outside of the water park & pool you will also find the main pool and smaller kids pool. These are very popular and you will need to be up at the crack of dawn to reserve a sun lounger. The hotel also has a private beach with plenty of sunbeds available and a very relaxed vibe. The beach bar is a great place for a quiet drink during the day and the nearby cafe is good for casual food at lunchtime. Location. Hotel is situated halfway between the medinas in Hammamet, so it is not really near any of 'the biz' and you will be getting a taxi if you want to visit local bars and shops. This should cost no more than 15-20 dinar in peak season for tourists. If you're quoted more than this, then haggle! Rooms. It is true that the rooms are by far the weakest part of the hotel - they are very much 3 star and are in desperate need of modernising. The room has everything you need but is probably 20-30 years old. Some rooms have a shower room whilst others have a bath with shower curtain. The hairdryer in some rooms is so weak it's not worth using, however in other rooms it is fine - bring your own if you dry your hair often! The toiletries in the room are basic but do the job. Air con is old and occasionally noisy but it works and can get quite cool. There is a fridge in the room and you can keep your water etc in here. It is just your luck what furniture you have on your balcony, we had no table or anywhere to hang washing, whereas some other rooms next to us had both. The rooms are clean and maids do a great job in that regard. You can see where repairs have been done in the rooms to furniture or towel rails etc and old furniture has been painted many times to make it look fresh. The beds were comfortable and we slept well unless there were noisy guests in the hallways. Staff. The staff here are wonderful and will do anything for you. The waiters are great and will try to remember your drinks order and bring it to you every evening. The animation team is huge (10+) and work tirelessly to keep you entertained throughout the day. These guys work seriously long hours, six days a week and they are always keen for a quick chat with the guests and love a laugh! Upselling. Something that I hadn't really read about prior to my visit was the amount of upselling that goes on in this all inclusive hotel.
