So lovely and quiet! Peacocks in the backyard are wonderful and the customer service and hospitality is amazing! Not too far from where you take the safari jeeps from too so it’s very close to the action.

Nice hotel. Friendly People 10/10 . But they are a few workpoints .the wc van only flush one time . We have tot call every time to the reception. They fix it but only for one flush. The breakfast : no many too choose from . But the omelet was excellent. Not to come again but not to avoid also

We have stayed in Magampura resort during our visit in Sri Lanka and we really had a lovely time. The entire staff is really friendly and treated us with utmost care. Chef personally took care of my baby’s special needs and prepares some delicious omelettes which my son loved . Janith also very professional and friendly during our meals in the restaurant Over all , great experience in this Eco friendly resort.

Calm hotel set in the beautiful jungle, within 30 minutes of Yala. Hotel is basic, rooms are clean and functional and aircon works. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Chana is a superstar and really looked after us. Only negative is restaurant area is too hot.

Awesome place to stay amidst forest. Thanks to manager for all the special efforts taken by him to make our short stay very comfortable and memorable. Rooms are cozy, clean, comfortable with a balcony facing forest. Food delicious, the best I had during my tour.

Our stay at Magampura Eco Village Resort, Kataragama, Sri Lanka was an absolute pleasure. From the moment of our arrival, till our last waves goodbye, the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The rooms were cozy and comfortable and the entire hotel was beautifully integrated with nature. Surrounded by lush greenery, it offered a peaceful serene escape. The hotel’s proximity to the infamous yala national park makes it a brilliant wildlife enthusiast’s destination. As a family that is extremely fond of the wilderness, this was the perfect stay. Hoping to return soon. Highly recommended.

Disappointing Stay - Not Worth the Money This was my 7th stay at this hotel, and unfortunately, it seems like things have only gone downhill. While the staff does try their best and serve with genuine effort, the overall experience was far from satisfying. The rooms were dirty, and the bathrooms had poor water supply. The TV didn’t work, and the cleanliness throughout the hotel was subpar. But the most disappointing aspect was the food. We booked on a full board basis, but the quality of the meals was terrible. For dinner, they claimed to serve Indian food with Naan roti, but it was nothing more than a basic flatbread. The chicken masala curry was just a bland black curry. The breakfast was equally bad, with raw fruits being served. Despite charging us 23,000/=, the food quality was barely worth 3,000/=. It felt like a complete rip-off. We won’t be returning to this place and wouldn’t recommend it to others. A really terrible experience overall.

I was at Katharagama on 15th Sep. Sunday to 16th Sep. Monday which was a long weekend in Sri Lanka. We booked a Family room which cost me Rs.19,500/= for ROOM only. But the TV was not working at all. WIFI was not working and no signal. Wash room is spacious with very basic amenities and inside the commode it was not clean. Room is spacious but the poor maintenance is a must. Bed linen and towels seemed to be washed, but had so many patches and marks and I felt they are not fully clean. Staff was ok. No idea about the food as we had purchased food from outside. I chose the place after seeing the pics on the website. But sorry to say that the hotel is not as described in pics. Anyway had a peaceful stay. But.need lot more maintenance amd for sure NOT WORTH for Rs. 19,500/=. My honest view is , family room is worth only max. of Rs. 12000/= (Room only)
