We were very well looked after by Ian and Kate. They went out of their way to make us comfortable. We were in a ground floor room with our own bathroom. It had a mini fridge with milk for a tea or coffee and a chocolate each day. There was also homemade cake or a biscuit each day. Breakfast was superb, made to order and with a variety of choices. The property has secure parking and is close to the village centre.

Absolutely perfect in every way. Beautifully clean and well equipped rooms. Friendly, caring hosts that can’t do enough for you (even drove me to the station after my one-night stay). Cornucopian breakfast cooked to perfection; fruit spread out all over the dining room with hosts insisting that guests take some for the journey/trek. And the deliciously moist, home-made cake in the room was a marvellous touch. Definitely will stay there again when we come back.

Absolutely perfect this my second stay and Ian and Kate are so kind and welcoming, the rooms are very clean and comfortable with a little fridge with fresh milk in each day and a freshly made cookie or cake,the atmosphere is very calm and inviting excellent breakfasts very close to all amenities 11/2 drive to the beautiful beaches on the east coast banburgh about must and1/2 hour to the Lake District 1 drive to Scotland would most definitely recommend thank you for making my stay perfect.

Ian and Kate are amazing hosts. Once you stay here, you wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. My Son and I had a 2 night stay, we stayed in the twin room, single beds 4foot wide, so comfortable, and lovely warm bedding. The tea and coffee facilities were great, a table top fridge with fresh milk, a large bottle of chilled water, and home made cookies on arrival. Ensuite was great, plenty of towels and face cloths to use, and a stand for your towels, lots of cupboard space too. Absolutely immaculate. The guest lounge was fantastic, comfy settees with blankets available, lots of books to read, games for kids, and sky TV. Breakfast, again fantastic, fresh fruit, home made granola, Greek yogurt, other yogurts, boxed cereals all available before your cooked breakfast. Nothing is too much trouble. I would highly recommend staying in this B&B to anyone, 5* I couldn't fault anything. Thank you Ian and Kate

It's difficult to know what to say really. Ian and Kate run the best bed and breakfast establishment I have stayed in , at 70 yrs old that's a few. Nothing is any trouble to them no matter what the request. Perhaps pick up from station or drop off at a nearby pub . Ian bakes fantastic cakes and cookies which are waiting in the room after a long day. Breakfasts are excellent as are all facility's. This was my 3rd stay and it was still 100% Will be going back for sure . Well done Ian and Kate

A fabulous B&B - never stayed anywhere better! Kate and Ian are the most welcoming hosts and provide the best, home made food. The breakfast was exceptional and our room perfect. We had cycled a long way on arrival and were greeted with ‘help yourself to beers from the fridge’. This place is the epitome of hospitality and we will recommend it to everyone we know! Thank you!

Truly the best. Perfect blend of comfortable gracious home and boutique hotel. The rooms and baths are well thought out, the breakfasts are delicious and varied, the beds are comfortable. Kate and Ian are accommodating beyond any expectations. Im sad I live on another continent.
