Top 5-Star Hotels in Ha Long

The hotel itself was great - clean, big and luxurious rooms - but may be better to wait until all the repairs are completed to enjoy the 2 swimming pools, fitness centre and even the hotel room balcony. Some distance away (but walkable) from Sun World entrance but since we were looking for a relaxing stay, we were good where we are with a nice view of the bay and the cable cars crossing over the water.

We had an amazing time there, service was excellent, staff were very polite and accommodating. We extended our stay because of our wonderful experience.

The location in that city I think is very good regarding sea view, some restaurants outside and you are very close to the ships leaving (it depends what you want... if you like City-like stay, you have to choose ankther locations but I think anyway the places are not so far away and easy to get everywhere (ok maybe in main season not so easy) The hotel gave me immediately an upgrade, teh room was extremely big, clean ,the view very good. All you need, and breakfast was also okay. The only thing: there's an open disco 1 km away, very very loud still.. so I went to that place to check (in anger) but I found out: actually a nice place to visit, sitting outside at the beach hahaha so not that bad. Tip: regarding the ships, they all folow the same route and stop at same places, but have very very differing prices ..

A beautiful hotel with absolutely stunning views of Halong Bay. We were in a twin room on the 12th floor which was quiet at night, with an incredible view of the bay and overlooking the pool - possibly the best view I’ve ever had. The service was great and the staff all very polite, friendly and helpful. There is good variety in the restaurants and prices are reasonable for what you receive. We also took full advantage of the grand spa, which offers a full range of treatments at a reasonable price. The spa staff could possibly have been a touch more professional (there was giggling which wasn’t totally appreciated) and the reflexology was much more of a leg massage, however we still enjoyed our treatments and for the price versus time of treatments we were happy. Location of the hotel is beautiful and away from the busy hustle and bustle of the city, though this means taxis are necessary in order to get anywhere. Hotel staff are very happy to help you organise these taxis though which made things very accessible. Overall a lovely stay and I would certainly stay here again.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The breakfast was delightful, and the staff was incredibly helpful. The rooftop offered a beautiful view, and the restaurant had a good selection of meals. The overall vibe of the hotel was lovely.However, I must express my disappointment regarding the fire alarm that went off multiple times during the early morning hours without any explanation. This was quite disruptive to my stay.Despite this issue, I highly recommend this hotel. On a separate note, I visited the spa next to the hotel, 'Nature,' and while the services were excellent, I was shocked to learn about their labor practices. It's disheartening to know that the staff relies solely on tips without receiving a proper salary. Offering expensive services without fair compensation for the employees is unacceptable and tarnishes the experience of an otherwise enjoyable stay at the hotel. Many people go there, but they are supporting this labor exploitation.

A luxury hotel at a great bargain price. View is terrific. Location is also fine. The room is quiet during the night. The concierge speaks English well.

I came on a business trip, and it was so nice that it was a quiet villa rather than a complicated hotel. If you book Royal Halong next time, I would definitely recommend the villa. However, it was a little disappointing that I couldn't see out the window because it was on the first floor, and I couldn't easily open the window. But everything else is satisfactory.

Service: Very good. But the front desk only speaks Vietnamese and English. Facilities: Very new, with a swimming pool Hygiene: Clean Location: Very good location, opposite the hotel is Sun World and double-decker sightseeing buses. And a street of seafood snacks and night stalls, very convenient. There is also Mixue Ice City downstairs. * Others: Booked 4 deluxe sea view rooms and a family room with my family. Deluxe sea view rooms are this kind with a balcony. One of them is not facing the sea view (2105). If you book again, you can pay attention to it. If you get XX05, you can ask if you can change it. I didn't take a video of the family room, but it is similar to the one shown in the Ctrip picture. The king-size bed room has no window. The room we got faces east. The food is average, but the location and view are great. It's the best! The staff doesn't speak English well, but they are very friendly. I'd definitely go back next time I have a chance.

I didn't think the temperature was in every room. The restaurant staff in 2chung didn't speak English, so it was very uncomfortable to communicate with the translator. The pool is less than 150, but it's deep in the low place, but the low place is too low and the high place is 1.55m so I can't enjoy it properly. ㅇㅇ Breakfast seems not bad The pool view was really nice and the weather was not so good We had almost 5 hours in the pool, and the staff was a bit uncomfortable to fix the lights in the pool all the time. It would be nice to go back to the pool by raising the height a little
