This hotel misleads potential guests by claiming it is 5-stars whereas in reality it is in urgent need of renovation. It charges 5-star hotel prices, but what you get corresponds to 2 stars. Our room, while incredibly expensive, looked like a bad movie from the 1990s. Quite empty, minimal basic furniture, not even a double bed but two basic-quality beds pushed close to each other. Air-conditioning was NOT working. One day, the electricity was randomly going on and off in our room, with the result that lights, air-conditioning etc kept switching on and off all the time. We asked them to send an electrician to check it, they said they did, and that same night we woke up to the air-conditioning profusely leaking and producing a very loud noise, as if it is about to explode, and of course woke us up in the middle of the night. The place is literally falling apart and nobody seems to care. Moreover, the hotel allows people outside the hotel to make use of the beach loungers, with the result that hotel guests are not guaranteed a spot on the hotel beach, even though this is literally the ONLY good thing about the hotel: access to a nice beach very close to the hotel rooms. Finally, the breakfast and the food at the beach bar was expensive but horrendous quality. Greasy fries, dry sandwiches, horrible coffee. Not only is this experience not worth the absurd amount of money they charge for their 40-year-old facilities, but they are outright lying about being a five-star hotel. Overall - utterly disappointing.

This is how all mornings look like at a 5-star hotel. The reception gives towels to the customers in the morning, all sunbeds are locked. It's THEIR policy. I have to stay under a tree with my 3 years daughter. This is why I came to the beach with my children.

One of our favorite locations. Not very big hotel, quiet, located on the seafront. The view of the sunset is truly sensational. Starting with breakfast and ending with dinner, everything we served was exceptional. The restaurant staff is particularly friendly and helpful. At the beach bar, the staff is extraordinary, friendly, kind, special, ( George, Pantelis and all...) who always prepared us a great coffee, a cocktail or serve us an Ouzo! All in all, a great place that we love to come back to year after year! Thank you to the manager, a special person, and to the entire hotel staff for the kindness that made our vacation special!

Very nice hotel and especially very nice and kind personnel, always eager to help, always with a smile on their face and always polite. Clean and big rooms. Very good breakfast with a lot of choices. Also perfect location and great beach. Luxurious and at the same time unpretentious, this hotel is a prime example of excellent hotelier and management.

Super great family hotel The hotel has nice big and clean rooms. The small beautiful and well-kept courtyard of the hotel is equipped with two small pools - swimming area for young and old. The staff is more than friendly, reliable and helpful. It takes only a few steps to get to the hotel's own beach. The sunbeds, umbrellas and beach towels are provided at no extra charge. Fresh beach towels are issued daily. If you are looking for peace and quiet and real relaxation, this is absolutely the right place. The food is varied and very tasty. I would recommend booking half board - otherwise you might miss something. The restaurant is located on the last floor of the hotel (3rd floor). From here you can enjoy the sunset in all its color facets behind the Olympus. In the sea you can have a lot of fun - canoeing, paddling, water scooter, or glisser rides (controlled by the boss directly or by qualified personnel) are offered here. I stay already the second time in the hotel and must unfortunately leave tomorrow. The first time I was at the end of September 2019, I am sure that I will soon be the guest of the hotel again. Thank you for everything!

Olympion Sunset is one of the 5* Hotels that accepts Pets (at a cost) and take care of them. The hotel is placed at the outside part of the first leg of Halkidiki (Kassandra). it is a 5 star hotel by the beach with a swimming pool and for some rooms lovely view to the beach. I had the chance to spend there a weekend and I could say it was a lovely experience. The hotel has excellent rooms with all facilities and the junior suites I can say they are majestic. The sea in front of the hotel is good but not the best one I have seen in Halkidiki and other places in Greece (please refer to Koufonissi and Antiparos sea). The food in the restaurant is also good - pricy. Drinks are served on the beach and the bar at all times also pricy. There is entertainment on a daily basis. In general, it was pricy but lovely experience. The hotel is fantastic in every sense and based in a lovely location - About an hour from Thessaloniki. Good one if you are going to spend there a weekend or few days... if you spend there more time you would need to drive to other restaurants and beaches if you do not want to stick in the hotel every day.

We had an amazing time on a vacation of friends at this fabulous hotel. From the great private beach, generous breakfast and wonderful rooms, it was a first rate experience. Best of all is the staff from Kostas the manager to the reception, guys at the bar and staff at the restaurant- the best you could hope for!

Hotel is really great, spacious room, clean and comfotable The food is delicious, Beach is clean, small stones but not sharped , perfect beach for children, Parking and sunbed free of charge. All The staf members is for 5 stars friendly helpfull and every time smilling ( especial Anthonia -recepcionist ). Wi-fi is working good. The only complain is that i have to stay 7 nights
