Alia Palace is the most beautiful hotel we have ever stayed at. I cannot recommend it enough. We booked a junior suite with our own pool, and went all inclusive. We cannot begin to tell you how worth it this was! It was absolutely magical having our own pool with our room overlooking the most stunning scenery and the sea. Nothing will compare. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh and vibrant. The options were different daily and even myself as a vegetarian, I found plenty of choices to choose from. My fiancé is a meat eater and constantly said how juicy and delicious the meat was. The staff, well, the staff! They are just wonderful. So kind, so friendly, and their English was excellent. I even found myself learning a bit of Greek from them! They truely go above and beyond and that is why our stay was so extra great. I was absolutely delighted when the hotel staff picked up about it being my birthday during our stay, and secretly left a bottle of wine and card in our suite on the day of my birthday to have when we got back, it was so kind and a really generous touch that I will never forget. We will definately be back. We are so sad to leave! Thank you again Alia Palace.

Hotel not 5* at all, only 1 toilet by pool area and not that clean, food is ok and that is being kind, no option to change on last day other then shower by the toilet which you cannot get changed in or hang towel due to size so that was difficult and uncomfortable they offered spa area but if they have customers in there you cannot use nowhere to change in comfort or private, views are amazing and rooms nice, we had swim up pool but couldn’t use as shaded all day, which is such a shame! Like I said nice views but not much else on an island where you can find so much better for price paid which was in excess of £900 for 2 people half board for 3 nights!

Not 5 star,pity people who were all inclusive food was boring and repetitive. Lovely balcony with a bar the bar was closed, if you wanted a drink you had to go down to the pool bar and get your own. It's a hotel that is definitely trying to save money, majority of staff were very good, but some had faces that needed a smile. Will not be returning.

More 4* than 5* … food tepid at best (all inclusive) … never anyone at omlette station in the morning and I’m vegetarian we tried asking a few times but nobody appeared 🤷♀️…outside bar shut when it rained and didn’t re-open when it stopped raining, shower was pathetic in our room it dribbled out … staff are amazing , hotel very clean , would come back. Lovely beach bar if you walk to seafront straight ahead and turn right go as far as you can go. It’s €20 per person per spend on food and/or drink. Entertainment at hotel is hit and miss depending on what you like. The Greek night wasn’t our thing at all and we left early. Met lots of lovely people. Due to BA cancelling our flight back home we got a bonus 2 days extra (had to pay obviously) and the hotel were very accommodating Thank you 🙏

In a nutshell - do not stay here if you frequent 5* All Inclusive resorts… as it’s not AI or 5 stars. I can’t be bothered writing the long list of hiccups, bad service, bad attitudes, bad selection of food, bad mod cons not working in our Deluxe Panoramic pool room, which we encountered daily… it’d bore you! Pros to point out - housekeeping staff are lovely and will help you with small things needed for your room Hotel is super clean Rooms in general were clean It’s a quiet hotel with a nice chilled vibe by the main pools, and some back ground music The private pool took is a 8 out of 10 (it doesn’t have sun all day) To add, I’ve never stayed AI in Greece so perhaps this is the standard, however, it’ll put me off any further AI trips to Greece in the future!

Lovely week's stay with 9 friends in August. Upon arrival we were taken to our room in the golf buggy - bear in mind there is quite a steep hill up to certain rooms. Room was modern and clean, and kept that way with daily visits from the maids with fresh towels. Air con worked well and was a godsend! We were half board and found the breakfast and evening meal selection varied and delicious - only gripe was we did not get a drink (even water) included with the evening meal, yet drinks at breakfast were included. Pool area is gorgeous, sunbeds are like mattresses so very comfortable. Such an amazing view out to sea. Pool bar has a decent menu, however we spoke to a couple who went all inclusive and they did point out that certain drinks they liked (Jack Daniels and Baileys) were not included in AI, and were 12 euro, plus if you wanted to eat lunch at the pool bar the only thing on AI offered is pizza. Local beer and wine are less than 5 euro at the bar. Hotel offers a shuttle bus to the beach and also into the town every hour which is great. We walked down there as it's downhill, which is a 10 minute walk, but too steep and dangerous with the narrow roads to walk back. Last bus back to the hotel was at 12.35am. Lots of bars, restaurants and shops in the town, with a lot of the bars having seating right by the sea which is lovely.

NO were near a Luxury resort. Much more like a 3.5 star. Poor quality maintenance, poor quality food, some staff were great, most below average. We had an All inclusive package which was limited in what you could have and when, no all inclusive drinks after 10.30pm, little choose during the day even had to pay for Fries.

The hotel is very dated and the rooms are poor and well used and the hotel staff are rude. Would not return look elsewhere. Very poor location with nothing really going on. Been to many parts of Greece and this has to be the most boring I’ve been too. Save your cash and book another destination
