Hfx Airport Hotel

Hfx Airport Hotel ★★★

📍 60 Sky Blvd

"ROUGH. the place is falling apart. it should be much cheaper for the quality of the building itself. definitely don't recommend for nice vacation vibes more. staff was friendly. they don't warn you that dark brown water comes out of the taps at first. found an earwig in the room. room was clean. the hallway is kinda scary vibes. there is a shuttle that was efficient, but the van is old and kinda filthy. it served its purpose."

The Barrington Hotel ★★★

📍 1875 Barrington St, Halifax

"Not very helpful staff, very outdated interior, somewhat unclean and dilapidated amenities. Flickering lightbulb for example in bathroom, phone that didnt work, etc. All forgiveable if it weren't for the noise in the hallway. You can hear everything and there was a party going on in the adjacent rooms. Couldn't sleep till 5 AM, complained to staff, they told me to reach out to who I booked it with for compensation, I did, then they acted like I never complained, and there was nothing they could do... so very unhelpful, stay at your own risk."

"Our family of four really enjoyed staying at the Moxy Halifax. The hotel is fairly new and has a very cool vibe to it. The staff were friendly and service was top notch. We stayed in the room with 4 bunk beds and it came with 4 free drinks at the bar. The beds are spacious enough for my husband and I to share a bed. The amenities provided by the hotel were excellent. They have an amenities cabinet where you help yourself to toothbrushes, toothpastes, body lotion, sanitary pad extra towels etc. Highly recommended!"

Hfx Airport Hotel ★★★
"This hotel is badly need of an update. The beds are terrible, the rooms are poorly lit, the carpet is worn and smells bad, and the bathrooms feel like 1980. It's close to the airport but that is the only redeeming feature."

Hearthstone Inn Boutique Hotel Halifax - Dartmouth ★★★
"Good breakfast made to order. Rooms are big and mattresses are firm which I like. Free parking outside. It’s about a 16 min drive to downtown Halifax. But there is also allot around the hotel. Super store etc. for the money I thought it was great. It’s not a super high end hotel but it gets the job done for a family of four."

"The hotel's system seemed to have a connection problem with the domestic platform; the front desk couldn't find the booking, and it was only found after coordination with Ctrip's Canadian service hotline. A sincere apology and compensation were offered, which was acceptable. Hopefully, this can be improved in the future."
