Wakata Lodge Hakuba

The hotel was spacious and clean, the staff were very enthusiastic, and they even provided transportation to our destinations.

Overall experience was good, room was clean and service was great! Just the private toilet kinda misleading as we were thought our room has bathroom as well. It was public bathroom and you have to go down for shower. Room at the upstairs which is not so convenience for us.

The accommodation offers a beautiful view and a very pleasant atmosphere. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and clearly newly renovated. Everything feels modern, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. Overall, it was a great stay and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean and beautiful place to relax.

Good location - quiet and near Iwatake. Friendly staff. Breakfast is simple but good portion.

Most of the rooms don’t come with a private shower, and we used the public bath with lots of showers in the same space (Japanese style onsen bath); it’s an experience if you don’t mind it. Staff are pleasant and breakfast daily was so tasty. The location isn’t the best though, we had problems going out, as buses don’t stop anywhere near the accommodation and you have to depend on the shuttle van provided by the hotel which is very limited and only in the morning or late afternoon at specific time, it was difficult coming back at night.

Nice clean large room. Common baths were clean Need a car to get around the different ski resorts. Breakfast was quick and easy.
