The landlady is very enthusiastic. The location is very good, just inside the pedestrian street of the old street, and the clock tower is right out the back door. The only bad thing is that when I took a shower at night, I found that there was no shower gel. My hair and body were soaked. I waited for almost half an hour and they didn't get it (I asked three times and they said it would be there in a few minutes), so my husband had to go downstairs and buy it himself.

Only for a one night stay so wasn't expecting much but the service surprised me. Friendly and kind. Location is superb, but also mean frantically trying to unload luggage; jamming the road. Entrance was also half hidden by what looks like a clothing store.

This time I came to Haikou for a trip, and my first stop was the century-old Qilou Old Street. I was particularly satisfied with the Mingyanglou Hotel I chose this time. The hotel is located on the most famous pedestrian street in the old street, and the parking lot of the Qilou is at the back door. It is very convenient for friends to check in with luggage when traveling or on business trips. The hotel is newly renovated and looks very clean and warm. It is equipped with an elevator, and the bedding is of good quality. The desserts in the durian shop downstairs are also very delicious, and it is a favorite of durian lovers.

The environment and people are very good, the hygiene and service are very good, anything the room needs can be delivered immediately, the staff is extremely enthusiastic, the location is also very good and convenient, the girl at the front desk recommended a lot of delicious food and fun things. Highly recommended.

We also searched for this store on Ctrip. It is only a few hundred meters away from Qilou Old Street and not far from the Bell Tower. The price is also suitable, so we booked it. After arriving, we found that the appearance is really very old, and it feels inconsistent with the description. After entering, the store’s service attitude made us feel very comfortable. The moment you step in, you don't feel the typical hotel because it's a museum kind. The reception was at the back and the whole place looked put off. I entered the room and the aircon conditioning was very poor and the room was hot (I stayed from 29 Apr to 1 May and the outdoor weather was hot!). Honestly, I felt uncomfortable but after the initial impression set in, I began to feel the charm of the hotel. The hotel painstakingly put up ornaments and the history's of Nanyang. It wasn't like a typical commercial hotel. The room was spacious with no lack of amenities. Bed and pillows were good for sleep. They provided laundry detergent and free laundry and drying service. Breakfast was bad (please skip). The location was superb!!! In the heart of Qilou Old Street, walking distance to Clock Tower (less than 10 mins) and Century Bridge (45mins by walk and 10mins by car). Excellent foot massage (郑远元） within walking distance (less than 8mins).

A small problem arose after checking into the room. Although Ms. Qingjiu was off work, she still responded to the message in seconds and helped to communicate and solve it immediately. Manager Wan Xin said, ”We are very happy to help you change rooms. A good sleep is more important than anything else.” He also thoughtfully provided eye masks and earplugs. His warm words like a spring breeze instantly relieved our worries and made us travel. Feeling more friendly and warm. Sincere smiles and considerate services make every stay at Atour a wonderful memory. I will choose Atour again in the future!
