Beautiful boutique hotel on a hill, overlooking lush nature and the ocean. About a 10 minute drive down. It’s very peaceful and relaxing. Great service and wonderful ambiance. We got the villa with private plunge pool, which was an amazing experience. Love how the resort is build around nature.

Thank you to the wonderful team at Tabula Rasa for a very memorable holiday. The rooms are spacious and clean surrounded by lush greenery and the view of the Indian Ocean. Breakfast has options of local and international dishes served with fresh fruits and fresh fruit juice. Fresh and delicious dishes in seafood and chicken are served at the hotel restaurant which are available outside of the a la carte menu. The resort is located at the top of a hill surrounded by a very natural scenic view and a 20 minute drive to Galle. Would definitely recommend the relaxing and rejuvenating Balinese spa at the resort. The hospitable and attentive team at Tabula Rasa ensured that we had a delightful stay and I highly recommend the resort.

Absolutely beautiful place, outstanding staff. The room was big and had an amazing view of the jungle and ocean. We were able to sleep like never before as the room is super quiet and AC worked perfectly. The food was really good and the chef accommodated all of our requests. It is not far by car from Galle so definitely you can enjoy the whole area. I strongly recommend this place.

We had a fantastic stay at this small cosy luxury boutique hotel. The well-appointed and comfortable room provided the perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The staff was amazing, incredibly friendly, and always ready to help, making us feel right at home. The pool, with its scenic view, was a highlight, offering a tranquil place to unwind. The superb breakfast was a delightful start to our day, and the delicious dinners we enjoyed for five evenings at the hotel were a culinary delight. The hotel is situated on top of a hill with great views of the ocean and I enjoyed morning walks down to the beach every morning, it only takes 15-20 minutes to walk down/up and it is nice to walk past the local friendly residents. Our stay was great, and everything worked smoothly and easily. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay at Tabula Rassa. Rooms and hotel is stunning and in an amazing setting. About 30 mins tuk tuk ride from the town but worth it for the quiet location. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Massage from Nuwan was incredible. Such a nice guy who made me feel perfectly at ease from the moment I met him. Perfect way to spend some time on the last day before the long flight home.

The location of the hotel is difficult to find, but once there it’s a beautiful, tranquil spot. The place smells divine and the rooms are well cleaned daily. We stayed three nights and enjoyed a meal at the restaurant on the first. The food was good, but was our most expensive meal of our stay in Sri Lanka. Good food though! Room service was efficient and the teenagers loved the ease of ordering on an app! Swimming pool is lovely, sun loungers comfortable and monkeys swinging through the trees above adds to the experience. Would I recommend ? Yes, for a few nights’ break from the touring, it’s a lovely place to hideout.
