I typically don't write reviews but the service was so good here during my stay that I'm making an exception.
1. The hotel staff picked us up at the train station upon our arrival, and also took us back there at the end of our stay, at no cost.
2. Every member of the staff has a great attitude, always smiling and ready to lend you a helping hand.
3. We didn't use them, though you can do your laundry (both washing machines and dryers are available). Detergent is free to use.
4. Breakfast is only worth it if included.
5. Rooms are clean and reasonably large. Two chairs are available even in the most basic rooms.
6. If you intend to travel outside the city, you can ask the front desk for recommendations, they'll put you in touch with a driver for hire.
All in all, it's extremely good value for money. It's the first time I experienced such type of service when the hotel room is only 200RMB a night!

This is the former residence of celebrities and is adjacent to the Dragon Claw Banyan Tree. It took three years to build by Greek designer Ulrica and was only completed in November 2023. It is a unique Chinese and Western double courtyard building in the ancient town, with large terrace rooms, French restaurant, multi-functional conference hall, and closed operation.
