First the good things 1. The property was very nice. I am going after several years, they have increased the facilities 2. The conference room was a good size and away from the noise of the rest of the place 3. The rooms were large and the temperature control worked well. Then a few things that did not suit me as well, but are personal to me 1. There is loud music at all times; including during breakfast 2. The menu was always decent, nothing interesting or unusual Both the above would have rated a 5 review. But here are the negatives; which were enough to bring the rating down to 2. 1. We had trouble in the room. The intercom did not work, there were a lot of mosquitos, there was no hot water, the bathroom smelt of urine, and the area behind the doors were not cleaned. 2. The next day during our conference, someone from the resort (either Manish or Mukesh Kumar, dont remember the name exactly), came to ask if everything was fine. The only answer that he expected was yes. When I gave the list, he said there were no mosquitos in the rooms; but he said he would do something. 3. None of the complaints were addressed, including cleaning behind the doors, the smell, there was no repellent in the room, the phone still did not work, no hot water, same smell. 4. Mukesh / Manish claimed that we had said we did not want hot water! Not sure why anyone would complain about that - there was a mixer on all taps. He was there the next days, smiling widely and asking if all was OK. Anyway we left that day, so no point in engaging.
