Smart Holiday Hotel & Suites -All Inclusive

Mitarbeiter von hotel waren sehr unfreundlich wir haben fast 2std wegen check in gewartet die Dame von Empfang war unfreundlich Zimmer wurde angeblich geputzt aber bei Bettwäsche waren blutflecken WC war schmutzig leider müssten wir 2 Tage bleiben da wir kein andere hotel gefunden haben aber nie wieder und wir haben Zimmer mit Meerblick gebucht aber haben kein meer gesehen die haben nicht mal eine eigene Strand end weder muss mann mit service da hin fahren oder zu Fuß es dauert mehr als 20 min also schrott

We've just got back home. We have had a nice holiday. But there are a lot of issues with the hotel. It's supposed to be a 4*. We all agreed it was more of a 2*. It's a hotel for Turkish people on holiday. The guests and staff don't really like British there. We had 2 other British families there who were lovely but the vast majority of Turkish people in the hotel saw us as aliens 😅. Our room was a family room and we booked 5 beds. On arrival we had 4 beds. It took a whole day of me continually asking for our bed for us to get one. It was 24 hours exactly. That first day was a washout as I had to keep going to reception and getting ignored over and over again. The manager was very rude and told me they don't do 5 beds in the hotel at all. We had to ring the emergency line for the tour rep to get help. The room was filthy and tatty. Not like in the pictures at all. The food was the same every day. It was nice but very repetitive. But we always found something to eat. Unfortunately the play area for kids is a no go area as there's an overwhelming smell of sewage. The pool area is lovely but extremely deep so you have to take care with children. The water slide mini pool is also a no go area as there's a broken window at head height with broken glass. I didn't trust it. There are a lot of steps but that didn't bother us and we still had a really good holiday. But I would definitely lower your expectations especially of the rooms. A lot of loose wires everywhere. Oh and unfortunately in the restaurant we got electric shocks most days for the electric salad bar cooler and dessert cooler. We reported that over and over again but nothing was done. It's quite large shocks you receive that numb your fingers 🫣. The beach is 10 minutes away and lovely but there's no private beach so we had to buy a drink in a bar to be able to use the sunbeds. The children really enjoyed themselves and we spent a lot of time at the pool. But we would not return or recommend unfortunately. We've been to Turkey before but it was a much better experience elsewhere. Gumbet is lovely and lively and a beautiful place though. There is no WiFi in the rooms and only the tiniest patchy bit in the pool area. I really would not recommend this hotel.

Absolutely awful hotel rooms were filthy not to mention a health hazard, tape around hairdryer wire light fixtures had wires showing, curtains off runner air con not working in 40 plus degree heat. Then there was the hotel itself slipping hazard around the pool, stair railings broken, metal spikes poking out of stairs at swimming pool slides. Then a fire broke out in the laundry room and electrics were all tripped kids were scared out of there wits. Also I have a diabetic child whereby majority of the time needs sugar free drinks when I asked for a Diet Coke I was looked at like I was speaking a different language and told no this is not a five star hotel. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL!!!! You will be disappointed the photos are nothing like what are advertised, staff are rude it’s dirty and unsafe also all the previous reviews of great hotel etc they must be writing these themselves or paying someone one or the other AVOID AVOID AVOID

A lovely hotel with a beautiful garden and comfortable rooms. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The beach was just a short walk away. Highly recommend for a relaxing vacation!

We truly enjoyed our stay here. The team was attentive, the room was spacious and the pool was refreshing. The location was ideal for exploring the area. A great choice for a stress-free holiday!
