The hotel itself was magnanimous, being large, and beautiful with a balcony down the hall for guests to enjoy and a conference room for any purposes, such as when my fiancee got her hair done. The room itself was huge and also had it's own balcony. Despite this luxury, it was only 75,000 ugx per night! Very affordable, and less than half the price of a nearby hotel, Peniel, which I stayed at for two nights previously. The pool and other amenities, including a gym, sauna, steam, bar and everything else was wonderful, and open until late at night. The restaurant was also very nice, and convenient, bringing room service... although it was a little expensive, at 35000 a plate, but the food was really good, so it was worth it. They also allowed us to have an engagement part there with my fiancee's family. The staff was all extremely friendly, and one guy even personally went for a job with me down the street. The owner, a man named Patrick, was extremely friendly and kind, and a man of God. He became a personal friend of ours whom we spoke with every night. All that being said, one thing did bother me: there were no screens on the windows, meaning that we had to shut them at night in order to avoid the mosquitos. Also there was no fan in the room, which made it hot. But hey, it's Africa, and as far as bang for your buck does, this is the place to go!
