Took me a long time to choose a hotel in Guilin. No regrets choosing Orange hotel as it is well located. as we arrived at night, we loved the amazing view of the Sun & Moon Pagodas at night. Clean, large room with all the modern amenities that we needed and a large and comfortable bed. Lots of food options around

Amazing view from room. Cool amenities including a high quality massage chair. The fried rice for breakfast was yummy. The bathtub was fantastic. Hotel staff was helpful. Only issue I had with the specific room I reserved was that the entrance to the twin pagoda park was on the street below and people were very loud. From as early as 6am to about 11pm there is bound to be some noise. Personally for me, the view from the room offset that issue.

Before the trip, the housekeeper added WeChat, asked about the check-in time and provided food tips. We arrived at the hotel at around 6pm that day and expressed our desire to watch the sunrise. The housekeeper on duty (Lv Jingtao, sorry if the name is wrong, I'm really embarrassed to stare at the badge) immediately led us to see the room and took us to the stargazing building on the top floor to drink the coffee in the set meal. The housekeeper was enthusiastic and made people feel his enthusiasm and professionalism for this profession. Picture 2 is the first view seen on the top floor. It is impressive to overlook the city from the highest point in Guilin. The room type was upgraded to a 180-degree view suite on that day. The facilities in the room were not photographed, but all the facilities are very new. Shower, bathtub, Dyson hair dryer, Bluetooth speaker, Huawei TV (can be projected), and Penhaligon's toiletries are very stylish. The breakfast place on the second day was on the 15th floor. I ate a set meal. Here I would like to praise the big sister of 053 in the catering department. She specially went to get oil tea for us to taste. In addition, the housekeeper Xiao Xu tried his best to meet the requirements. In conclusion, Waterfall Hotel is very suitable for young people who are willing to spend some money on accommodation. If you come to Guilin and want to stay in the Two Rivers and Four Lakes Scenic Area, you will never go wrong by choosing this hotel.

Nice location and nice room with nice view. The lobby staff (娟子，陶子） are friendly and working fast for the check-in and check-out process. The cleaner (秀秀） is thoughtful enough and great observer by preparing more bottles of water for us when she saw there is milk powder in room. The concierges are helpful too. Always there to give a hand to the guests. The package we booked come with free essential oil massage and photography session for 1pax. The massager number 3 is friendly and professional, applying consistent pressure and give full body relax during the massage session. While during the photography session, the make up artist provide good make up and the photographer is giving good leads in teaching how to pose. Overall experiences are good and happy with it. Will revisit next time when go Guilin again

My family checked in on Oct 24. We stayed for 3 nights. We were happy with our stay in this hotel and would recommend friends to stay in. We also had our rooms upgraded to larger units. Prior to that, we had a warm reception by Xiao Wan and he even personally helped to bring our luggage to our rooms. He also recommended places to eat and visit. There were welcome fruit and sweet snacks and even brewed desert of white fungus for each of us which we never had before on our trips.. The views from the restaurant on the 7th floor were fantastic. We wished we had stayed longer. We will definitely stay in this hotel when we visit Guilin again.

hotel is conveniently located near the city area and it was a nice stopover before taking the river cruise to Yangshuo the next morning. would recommend to anyone who is looking for a quick night stay in Guilin!

Great hotel with private tub in the rooms, kids love 小杜 小杜 very much. Will definitely revisit if come to 桂林 again

Pros: Hotel with nice views, nice and friendly staffs. decent breakfast, vey comfy bathrobe Walking distance to many tourist spots Room is well equip Cons: I went to try the spa (aromatherapy package), was expecting a relaxing massage but I think the masseur lacks the skills. She use brute force and continously rub on the same spot over and over. I had red bruises all over my back. Had to keep reminding her to be more gentle, I had more aches instead of feeling relaxed.

The hotel is situated in a prime location, right next to a stretch of food hawker that open in the afternoon and stay open into the night. Just outside the hotel, there is an underpass that leads across the road to a variety of restaurants, tea shops, and a starbuck. Catching a taxi from the hotel is quick and easy, allowing access to many attractions within a half-hour radius. The hotel staff are exceptionally friendly, and the overall cleanliness of the establishment is commendable. We were very pleased with our room, which was upgraded to a higher floor, offering us a stunning view of the city skyline. Breakfast was simple yet decent, featuring a selection of local/Asian dishes. For those who prefer a more continental option, there were also breakfast cereals, bread, butter, and jam available. The hotel lobby also offers day tours organised by local tourist company that you can sign up for which makes it really convenient. The hotel staff will be able to introduce you what trips are available that could possibly suit your need and stay throughout your visit. Overall, our stay was enjoyable, and we would highly recommend this hotel for its excellent location and service. We did not get to see all of Guilin during our 4D3N stay and will certainly come again. We will definitely stay in the same hotel too!

Overall a very nice hotel but I wouldn't give it 5 stars. In my opinion it's more of a 3-4 star boutique hotel. The room was very large and nice, with 3 panoramic windows to the courtyard in front of the entrance. No unpleasant smells, one window with mosquito net. The TV didn't work, meaning it didn't have regular channels connected. The bathroom very large but unfortunately without any heating. In my opinion too cold for a bath or shower. Leaving the door to the room open and raising the room thermostat to 30 degrees Celsius didn't change anything. Welcome fruits were very nice. Free afternoon tea modest, exactly as shown on the photo during booking. Amenities with too strong for my taste, masculine smell. Based on the number of seats in the dining room (only 24), I think it's a really small hotel, so the breakfast had a very limited choice and quantity, but it was tasty. At the check out each guest receives a pack of local tea. The location of the hotel is excellent. It is connected by bus 18 or 100 with Guilin North station but I don't recommend taking bus. First of all, tickets from Guangzhou or Shenzhen should work, but they didn't, and neither did Allipay. One ticket costs 2 yuan, and you can pay in cash. More importantly, there is no overground crossing between the nearest bus stop and the hotel. You have to use an underground passage [a lot of stairs, no lift], and with suitcases it's a big problem. In the other direction, from the hotel to the station, there's no such problem. Taxi cost around 0.25 euros per kilometer.
