Behind the hotel, there is a huge lake and walking trail viewing Guilin scenery. Even if it was hot to visit some travel spots, we can enjoy walking around the hotel and shoot some good photos.
The breakfast was not bad compared to a room rate. I cannot say all service and facilities are good to stay because it is too old. 😅 it reminds of an old-style Chinese hotel.
We had dinner at a hotel restaurant and ordered the 4 persons package. It doesn’t taste fresh but not too bad. There were only two teams including us, having dinner. We had a calm and peaceful dinner time. The staff was very friendly. ❤️
However, if you care of the location and prices, this hotel is reasonable 😆

The room is nice and big. The hotel provides everthing you need in terms of toiletries comb, shower cap, toothbrush and etc. The hotel also provides authentic Luo Han Guo tea which has health benefits include a soar throat.
The swimming is closed in off season in March 2025. The temperature is 13-20 degrees and too cold for a swim anyway.
The breakfasts is good there is freshly Mi feng, Congee, Baos, fried rice and noodles, coffee, soy milk and yogurt.
The hotel is in a good location along the river and looks pretty in morning and evening walks. There are local eateries nearby about 5 mins walk straight once you cross the bridge and food is really cheap. It mainly caters for the local community hence low prices.

I think the room pictures don't accurately reflect the room itself. I think the actual rooms looked worse than they did in the pictures. Also, the hotel needs some freshening up. It feels like time traveling to the 1990s. One room had what appeared to be rat droppings on the windowsill, and the hallways smelled like cigarette smoke. Too bad, because the location of the hotel is great. The hotel bar is also good.

The hotel is in a good location (nearby many tourist attractions). Walking distance to the city centre. Staff are friendly. Clean and comfortable rooms. However, there was only one washing machine in the laundry room and it was not working.

Our stay at Guilin Park hotel was very nice. The location and room both being ideal. The best part of our stay, however, was undoubtedly the helpfulness of the staff, in particular, when my friend unfortunately lost his phone. With their help, we were ultimately able to find it. All in all, I would definitely recommend Guilin Park Hotel.
