The hotel is in the gymnasium, many people take a walk, the hotel gave us a free upgrade of the room type, the room is very big! Very comfortable! There are many free movies on the TV, and there is a room nearby (again rice noodles) super delicious!
The only downside is that there is a basketball court next to the window. Someone plays ball until 11 or 12 in the evening before 7 o'clock in the morning. People who sleep lightly are still affected. In addition, the hotel's breakfast is a bit too simple. Except that Guilin rice noodles are really delicious, delicious and delicious, there is nothing else to eat and there is no choice.

The facilities, sanitation, environment and services are good. The location of the hotel is very good. The only bad thing is that the hotel parking space may be tight? At night, the door is full of parked cars, making it difficult for us to turn around even if we take Didi.

Unexpectedly good, highly intelligent, clean and tidy, well-equipped and high-end, cost-effective, and the experience is great. The room environment arranged by the front desk is clean, tidy and comfortable, and the facilities are complete. The mattress is very comfortable to sleep on, soft and comfortable! The hotel also has a laundry room, which is very convenient and very cost-effective. I will stay here again next time if I have the chance. The room is equipped with a small size and is very sensitive. The projection is very clear. It is very fun to watch TV series.

Stayed for 3 nights at this lovely boutique hotel. The rooms are clean, modern and well maintained. The staff were friendly and incredibly helpful. I would recommend to friends and family.
If there was one thing to improve, I think smoking and non smoking rooms should be completely separated - the hallways were filled with the smell of cigarettes and it also filled my room but otherwise, I would stay here again.

I have been to Guilin many times. As a tourist city, I have stayed in many hotels with different characteristics in Guilin. The more experiences I have, the harder it is to choose. This time, I chose the best of the best, repeatedly compared, comprehensively considered the location, parking, gym configuration, room area, Ctrip platform evaluation... and so on, and chose the Jade International Hotel.
After checking in in person, I felt that it was worth the money.
The hotel is in a good location, and there are many supermarkets and food around.
The hotel is equipped with above-ground and underground parking lots, which is safe and convenient.
The front desk service is warm and thoughtful, and a hearty breakfast is given.
The room facilities are complete and the air conditioning is awesome.
Although the hotel's own gym equipment is simple, it is scientific and practical.
The breakfast variety is relatively small, enough to fill the stomach.
There are too many delicious foods in Guilin. This time I recommend a ”Zeng Sanjiawei Restaurant”, authentic Guangxi cuisine, delicious and affordable. It is very close to the hotel. Turn right from the hotel gate and you can see it 500 meters away.

Really cute and nice hotel! You get a free coffee voucher for their cafe next door and the outdoor area is nice to grab a coffee and look at the river. The coffee prices are good. The rooms looks like the pictures.
Groceries and restaurants in all price ranges are close to the hotel and the food is great. Tell them to point out the famous beef noodle place 5 minutes away it is the best! For breakfast or lunch 😊

We had a good stay in this hotel. The front desk staffs are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is centrally located to many attractions, train stations, and many eateries. We got a room upgrade. It is spacious and fully stocked with all the daily necessities. My husband and I really love their hot ginger drink provided to their customers in the lobby for free. It is really a nice gesture, especially in this cold winter time. Highly recommend this hotel to others.

It has been a memorable stay for us. The hotel is conveniently located within a 15-minute walk to the Twin Pagoda, the Elephant Hill, and Zhenyang Pedestrian St. Besides, they are many good restaurants around the vicinity. Our selected rooms are huge with minimal chic design. Friendly service staff. Loved the chat service via Wechat, where we could book our transport to and fro the Railway Station. There's complimentary dessert served to our room. On top of that, they even printed our favourite photos taken during our stay and have it framed for us for free!!! And the robot delivered to our room. We will miss talking to Shishi in the Wechat asking about our needs. This is a very interactive hotel where communications are done through their Wechat, and you get prompt services. Good breakfast varities and friendly service staff. Highly recommended to try the local Guilin dry noodle at breakfast. It is as good as those outside. We will miss staying in this hotel. Thanks you SYYF hotel!

A great place to stay. It was clean and close to many restaurants. The main pedestrian street is around 20 minutes walking distance away but that's ok as there is a lot to see on the way or even buses. The staff was really helpful with giving us instructions and the hotel is walking distance from Guilin railway station. I recommend staying here.

Here are some highlights:
1. Helpful staff
We were able to check in around 12:30 pm. The staff at front desk helped us move in. Everyone in the hotel put a lot effort to make sure their customers were satisfied with their service.
2. Comfortable beds
The two bedrooms is kind of small for a family of 4. It lacks desks to put makeup, purses. However the bed and pillows were very comfy.
3. Tasty food with stunning views restaurant
The ZUI restaurant at 6 floor has excellent food options, great quality and stunning views. We had both dinner and breakfast there. It was the best one in our entire Guilin Yangshuo vacation. We really like the local specialties, like Oil Tea, Black rice cake with egg yolk, fried rice noodles, Guilin rice noodles…
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at SYYF Li River Courtyard Hotel. I highly recommend it.

GGuest UserA truly magnificent stay - highly recommend
Even before I arrived, the staff went out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. I received a message the day before my reservation to call the hotel. When I called, they asked if they could send me a message on Wechat as they didn’t speak English. The staff simply wanted to know my eta so that they could turn the a/c on in the room to cool it down before I arrived.
The hotel is more of a BnB set up than a hotel - similar to a house design. The building is 5 stories high with I guess around 4 rooms on each floor. This makes it perfect to escape the large tourist groups which frequent bigger hotels.
When the taxi pulled up outside on the day of my arrival, 2 staff members rushed out to welcome me. Check-in was quick and they told me that they had upgraded me to a bigger room. They also asked me what I wanted for breakfast the next day as they had some different ‘Western’ options (think Chinese idea of Western but still okay). I was able to have toast and fried eggs every day.
The room is really exquisite - I came alone but would definitely recommend for couples as the bathtub is heavenly.
The two balconies offer beautiful views of the karst mountains. The room is also tastefully done up in wicker and white. And the bedding is luxurious. My only recommendation for the room is to add some sachets of instant coffee.
The pool is perfect for a cool down and what a spectacular view from the loungers!
I swam every day and every day while sitting by the pool, the staff brought me some refreshing lemon water to drink. In addition, every day of my stay they brought me something: day 1 - fresh watermelon and some blueberry thing (candy?), day 2 - baby tomatoes and more blueberry things day 3 - apples and peanuts. On checkout, they prepared a local snack and water bottle for the trip home.
The staff at this hotel really go the extra mile and just about bend over backwards to serve you. It’s been a long time since I have seen such eager staff and it makes for a very pleasant change from bored receptionists on their phones.
I cannot rate the hotel highly enough for their excellent hospitality service.
The location is also perfect - away from the main ***** but an easy 15 minute walk to the river rafts and another 5-10min to the ‘town’ and a variety of eating options. That’s when you turn left when you get to the main road from the hotel (5min walk). Turn right at this road and you can comfortably walk (30 min?) to some other sites like the one with the hole in the mountain (overrated) and an exquisite cave - Dragon cave. If you like caves and the formations within I highly rate this cave. It is truly gorgeous. You can also rent bikes or a scooter 10m in front of the hotel.
The staff do not speak English but they communicate via WeChat and are more than happy to help with anything.

GGuest UserWe are a family of 4 with 2 young children who stayed for 4 nights at SYYF. This is easily one of the best hotels that we have stayed in. The staff’s service was impeccable, warm and prompt. Our room was clean and faced amazing mountain views. The location at ten mile gallery was peaceful yet perfect for travelling to other sights in Yangshuo. Our children absolutely loved the lavish breakfast buffet spread and we had delicious dinner at the hotel for 3 nights straight. When we went out to West Street and had difficulty getting a taxi back to the hotel, a staff personally drove the hotel car to pick us up. The hotel even arranged for a complementary transfer to transport us to Yangshuo train station at the end of our stay. I cannot compliment the staff enough for their amazing service and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

I booked my stay at the Shixi Landscape Hotel in Yangshuo, Guilin, through Trip.com. The check-in process was very smooth and didn’t take long at all. One pleasant surprise was the option to upgrade our room for free, which we accepted. This upgraded room came with a lovely balcony. Although the staff couldn’t speak English, they were very friendly and helpful. Using a translation app made communication easy.
Room Details
We stayed in a standard double room with an upgrade to a balcony room. The room also featured a bathtub, which was a nice touch. Upon entering, the room was fairly clean, though there were some water stains on the floor and the carpet had a few dirty spots. The amenities were average, including a selection of soft drinks in the minibar and some snacks on the table. Despite these minor cleanliness issues, the bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep.
Facilities and Services
The hotel had a restaurant where we received a complimentary breakfast upgrade. Unfortunately, the breakfast did not meet our expectations. While the Chinese food selection seemed okay, the international options were quite disappointing. The sausages were undercooked, the bacon was not good, and the cereal options looked and tasted stale. The only decent international option was toast with butter. It’s a relief we didn’t pay extra for it.
Although I noticed the hotel had a spa, gym, and pool, I didn’t get a chance to use them. The pool looked nice but was small and shallow, not suitable for a serious swim. There was no room service available as far as I knew.
Location and Accessibility
The hotel’s location was fantastic, situated right next to the Li River and only a short 5-minute walk to the main shops and streets in the town. It was very easy to find and access, making it a convenient base for exploring Yangshuo.
Customer Service
The overall customer service was great. The staff were very friendly and polite, and we encountered no issues during our stay.
Overall Experience
The best part of our stay was the hotel’s prime location, which made it easy to visit tourist attractions. The hotel staff were also very helpful in arranging scooter rentals for a very reasonable price of ¥30 per day, which allowed us to explore the beautiful scenery around Yangshuo.
However, there is room for improvement. The breakfast selection, particularly the international options, needs significant enhancement. Additionally, a thorough deep cleaning of the carpets would greatly improve the room’s cleanliness.
In conclusion, while I would recommend the Shixi Landscape Hotel for its location and overall good service, it is on the pricier side for Yangshuo. Given the cost, I expected a bit more in terms of breakfast quality and room cleanliness. Nonetheless, it is a decent option for those looking to stay near the Li River and the town’s main attractions.

HHelen Yu (Chestnut Journal)I chose this hotel because of its proximity to the Elephant Trunk site and it really is just about 5 minutes by walk. Overall, not too bad at all, its greatest strength is the roominess. Amenities were alright, I liked the hairdryer, and in one of our four rooms there was proper capsule coffee provided. It is also close to coffee shops and a really good local noodle shop. The only problem for me was that we had elderly and they have to walk up the stairs to reach the lobby, and that was not made clear in the hotel introduction. I think it would be quite necessary to indicate accessibility facilities.

PPrairieTruthfully, I am having time finding words, and that's unusual for me. I must admit I was disappointed when Yangshuo Mountain Retreat cancelled my booking because of a wedding that had booked the place, but the photos of the garden sold me. I've been to Yangshuo perhaps five times over the last 10 years, and have stayed in every kind of place there-from a cheap hostel to the boutique rooms but my dream was to stay at YMR, where I always stop and have a whiskey by the river.
When we pulled into Liqui Town, I realized I had not explored this part of the valley and was disoriented. But then the staff greeted us, carried in our bags, gave us tea, peanuts, and oranges, and set to taking care of our every need. They were this way with us from start to finish-sending us off with a bag of fresh mandarin oranges and hugs-and a promise to send an invoice for our remaining expenses-which we still have not gotten!
Apart from the wonder of just those details, the food was exquisite, our farmhouse room was stylish and simple yet so thoroughly Chinese-in the most real and unassuming way. It was an honor and a pleasure to sip tea in the farmhouse and look at the many woodcut posters and Chinese propaganda songs on the walls while staring up from the tea table to the simply elegant clay tile roof resting on the original beams, feeling the mud bricks breathe out their history silently under a soft rain and the early crows of the neighborhood roosters. I
If one is quiet and still, I believe this little gem will give up her secrets, her history, and the story and true feeling of old-time village life amongst the stunning splatters of karst and water. We enjoyed watching the staff use the traditional well to clean up around the property, and the garden did not disappoint. Truly magical and filled with bonsai that some local master has been enjoying for many years. The food was excellent. We spoke with some Chinese tourists on the way out who were very disappointed with the local version of beer fish, ah but ours was exquisite, along with the drinks and italian food. It's very rare to find this mix of culture, authenticity, generosity, and good service all wrapped into a package that does nearly guarantee the fulfillment of the motto the girls wear on their shirts, ”be inspired....”

EExpatThis is an absolutely beautiful hotel. As a solo traveler, I do feel that it’s good for one night to experience that design and pampering space. There are bus tour groups which go there and seem to work well with the KTV, Buffet meals, and lounging areas.
From my trip, I stayed for two days after the Chinese Qixing Festival. It was really nice to arrive and have access to the teatime snacks and desserts as well as the wonderful architecture and furniture design. The outdoor pool is nice, however the indoor pool charges 50 yuan because they offer drinks and snacks. The only drinks and snacks they offered were juice boxes and some fruit. One employee told me that there were cocktails available. The exercise room and yoga room were set up very nice. The shower rooms very clean. I would not pay for the indoor swimming pool in my opinion based on the drink/snacks.
The bar that is advertised from some user photos does not exist. Some employees said it was open, others said not. Management can communicate that better, as a lush hotel should have a solid lounge. The tea lounge does not have any alcohol drinks available, but rather decoration of wine bottles. The design is gorgeous though. One employee told me that they ran out of alcohol due to holiday, and another employee told me that there was a bar open which really was not. I simply went to get my own spirits when I wanted a cocktail (made in my room).
Other than that, everything in the hotel was fine. My room was really lovely with the exception of the fact that you cannot go out on the balconies and there is a smoke smell from the carpet. The hotel gladly gave me a an air purifier to help alleviate the smell. My opinion is that the power should be sat on before a guest checks into their room. I had to change the filter over the two days. It did not appear that the KTV was open (maybe epidemic), I decided to go hang out in town, but enjoyed the Victorian flair when relaxing.
Overall, the comfort, bathing, and relaxation was great. The breakfast is really delicious, and the service of the employees all around was impeccable despite the fact that they could not offer all of the amenities. It seems an OK place for families/photos as well since the property is unique. The 50 yuan for tea time was probably the most valuable, and the room service staff are detailed. The butler/reception very professional, Ayi staff amazing. Transportation quite easy.

We particularly liked the snails in sauce. The owner and the ladies on duty are very dedicated to the customer. We suggest providing bathrobes in the room when exiting the bathroom which is facing the windows. A more complete breakfast menu would also be perfect.
