Hotel Entredos

Guijuelo is not an exciting or culturally promising town but a town geared to producing very fine Ibérico products. It excels at this but it is dedicated to this pursuit. The reason for my visit was to buy the produce. This I did . I am sure it will be enjoyed this Christmas. We arranged to stay overnight and sought a room that was clean and comfortable. We booked this hotel since my husband had stayed there several years ago and said it was okay and near the centre. On arrival the hotel was quiet but very clean. It has a restaurant and the rooms have TV, Wi Fi and very comfy beds, lovely bathrooms. What more could you want for a low priced three star hotel in a working town? After driving for six hours to buy Ibérico ham I would have liked to have encountered a smiling face at the hotel reception. This was not to be! We got a surly face with eyes that rarely rose from the computer screen. She was not well attired and made no effort to communicate other than to give instruction in a disinterested and dismissive manner. In contrast, on leaving the following morning the cleaner went behind the reception desk to check if we had any outstanding bill and she was very good. My review rating is poor not because of fixtures and fittings, because I think they were very good but because of the lack of human interaction at reception and the woman we met needs serious training. The overall hospitality experience depends on teamwork and weak links like this prevent the development of good service and the feeling of ambience which promotes the return of clients who would spend money in the hotel if it were to promote a better image.

Centrally located and easy walk to centre. Hotel very clean.Comfy bed. Receptionist on check in miserable and unhelpful. Restaurant opening hours very short. Would return since it's location suits us but could be far more welcoming with a little bit of effort.

Just a hotel of all kinds, not special, no hospitality and a grumpy lady at the reception. Maybe end of season, but not feeling welcome at this hotel.

Very nice hotel with a very friendly staff. Great value for money. Perfect place to stay for a stop over on my way to the south of Spain. Minor detail; some glasses, a coffee maker and water boiler in the room would be nice. I can highly recommend this hotel.

Pequeño hotel. Nuevo. Limpio. Cama muy cómoda. Todo funcionó muy bien. El desayuno es buffet y está bien. Muy rico un bizcocho. Me sentí tentado de robarme un trozo para el viaje......fui con mi gatita y ella estuvo muy cómoda. Parece lejos del centro, pero no.
