Yosemite Lakes RV Resort

The location was very well kept and very clean public bathrooms with public showers that are phenomenal. The wreck area has a lot for families to do for kids to enjoy as well but it’s just a 40 minute drive to get to Yosemite village.

“Entitled Member” A lady arrived at our River Yurt 27 around 6:30 PM (after-hours check-in). I initially thought she was staff because she was trying to open the door and then knocking—an impatient, frustrated knock. My husband went out to talk to her, and I followed shortly after. She asked for our key and showed us hers, we had the same code number. She was visibly upset and rude, insisting that she was a member and had already booked the yurt. She expected us to pack up and leave simply because she was a member. The entitlement! I don’t care who she is. Eventually, she was given Yurt 25, which was next to ours. Clearly, it was a mistake by incompetent staff who double-booked the place. We had already checked in around 3:30 PM during office hours, and our belongings were inside the yurt. There was no way we were leaving just to accommodate the so called “member”. After driving almost three hours, leaving wasn’t an option. To make matters worse, we couldn’t even enjoy our front porch because she was smoking on her porch, and the cigarette smoke drifted over to us. Also glad we brought our own sleeping bags because their blanket has so much stain.

Inadequate facilities Be prepared to pay for any early check in. Space around our cabin was minimal. Fire ring is only a few feet from your car and is surrounded by ashes from previous campers that will track into your car, the cabin and everywhere else. A little sand or gravel around the fire pit would help this. I would not want to be here during peak time of year because of the restroom and shower facility. It was clean and new just not adequate for a full site.
