Borgo Del Cabreo

동화같이 로맨틱하고 예쁜 장소. 넓고 깨끗하고 뷰도 좋고 친절! 날씨가 더 좋았으면 좋겠지만 그래도 너무 좋은 숙소 였다.

Borgo Del Cabreo is one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed! The surrounding views are absolutely stunning (exactly what you've dreamed of when you picture the Chianti region). You even get to enjoy the beautiful view from the pool area. The staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly (thank you again Michele). The rooms are beautifully done and very clean. They were kind enough to upgrade us to a beautiful suite, with the most amazing view from a private patio, where we could sit and enjoy a nice bottle of wine! We walked up the road to visit their sister hotel, Pietra Del Cabreo, which was also stunning and worth a visit. The restaurant at Pietra Del Cabreo was delicious and the staff at the restaurant were also amazing! We feel very grateful to had to the opportunity to stay here and can't wait to go back! We were sad to leave. Really made for a trip of a lifetime! Do yourself and favour and stay here. You won't regret it. We are recommending to all our friends and family.

This place is simply paradise. The property and accommodations are beautiful and totally first class. The people that work there really put this place over the top for our family. Mattia and Michele were so friendly and were always ready to help with anything we needed. I can't imagine a better place to stay and experience Tuscany. highly recommended

We had been travelling around Tuscany for a couple of weeks, with Borgo Del Cabreo being our last stop on our holiday. Unfortunately, Borgo Del Cabreo just wasn't for us and we felt that it was very overpriced; it was one of the most expensive properties that we stayed at and the one that we enjoyed the least. From when we first arrived at the hotel, it felt very cold - we were welcomed with "passports please" when we walked into reception by the gentlemen; no pleasant welcome or introductions. No offer to help us to our room with luggage as well. We had requested a particular room (which we knew we weren't guareneed) but were told my the gentlemen that this room didn't exist, despite a picture of it being on their website under the room category that we had booked. We also found out when we checked out that we should have been given a welcome drink on our first evening, but this was never mentioned or offered to us, sadly. Compared to other hotels that we stayed at in Tuscany, including in Chinati, we found that the hotel lacked atmosphere. Staff are only on-site until 8/9pm and then not again until breakfast in the morning. There are no communal areas with atmosphere which gave it almost a bit of a self-catering/campsite vibe. We dined at the sister hotel up the road one evening which was very nice and had much more of an atmosphere - the staff here were full of energy made you feel very welcomed. The reviews on this property are very good from other guests which attracted us to the property at first, but maybe it just wasn't for us. It's worth noting that we shared all of our concerns with the kind lady that was working on the day that we checked-out; this is the first time that we had seen her working, but she was very much concerned and wanting to help which was refreshing, but sadly for us, just a little too late...

This is one of the nicest places I have ever stayed at. Up a hill set in very well kept gardens in delightful Tuscan countryside surrounded by vineyards from where the sensational local Chianti wine is made. It's a small 'hotel' but the rooms are large, beautifully clean and very well equipped with all you could want. Excellent showers and a massive bed! Breakfast is amazing with fresh local fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice, bread, italian meats and cakes but do not expect an english breakfast but then why would you in Italy! There is a fab large heated pool which is never crowded as there are not that many guests. Best of all the staff could not be more helpful. They really do excel. Only breakfast is served on site with lunch and dinner available up the road (about a 600m walk up hill) at the sister hotel. However it is only a 20 minute walk down into Greve a super town with lots of good restaurants and shops. But be warned its uphill all the way back! Will definitely be going back to this idyllic gem.

Lovely welcome from the start of our stay to the end. Cannot recommend the Borgo highly enough. The breakfast was fantastic. So much choice and all the ingredients were so fresh. Loved the fresh orange juice too. The pool was in an idyllic setting and lovely and warm. The views from the rooms were amazing across the rolling Tuscan hills. Can easily walk up to the Hotels' restaurant or down into Grevè. The accommodation is well thought out and beautifully done. All the staff are very welcoming.

This was our favorite hotel during our 20+ day tour of Italy. From the check-in with Mattia to the morning breakfasts we found the staff to be excellent. Breakfast was wonderful each morning, the grounds are beautiful and the rooms themselves elegant. Would definitely stay here again. We were traveling with my daughter and her family so we had four rooms and everyone enjoyed the stay. The pool was heated and had beautiful views.

It's rare I give a hotel 5 star rating, but this is one. Everything here delivered as promoted, and more. Firstly how nice to receive such a warm friendly welcome, especially when one arrives well before normal check-in time. Immediately offered to relax in the garden or go down by the pool, showed where to change, provided towels and a lovely welcome glass of wine. We were particularly fortunate as were upgraded to The Villa which is totally wonderful, would highly recommend! Views from everywhere are stunning in ALL directions, it's like 'surround sound' without the noise! The staff are wonderful, thanks to Michele and Matteo plus various gardeners/ maintenance staff who keep property immaculate and beautiful and of course the breakfast ladies, all charming and welcoming. Breakfast was superb. The pool was perfect temperature, comfortable sun loungers, all so relaxing, this is the reason to come here. If we came back to this region, would not waste time looking to book anywhere else. Only this time stay for longer than our 2 nights. Recommendations: - having a car though so if you want to explore the region or go into town for a restaurant, its a very steep walk back. - booking in advance dinner at their sister hotel Pietro Del Cabreo which is an easy 10 minute walk up the road. Food was exquisite and stunning setting of course. - staying longer than 2 nights :) Hopefully will be back!

What an idyllic location ! Perched a little way above Greve this wonderful retreat is a perfect haven. A beautifully relaxed location with wonderful views of vineyards, rolling hills and cypress trees- couldn’t be better! Rooms are extremely spacious and very well stocked and the staff are a joy. Breakfasts are magnificent and it is easy to get into Greve for a meal. Lovely swimming pool and grounds. I cannot recommend it enough.
