Pettigru Place Bed & Breakfast

We stayed at Petigru Place for a weekend getaway for our anniversary. From the moment we stepped onto the grounds we felt welcomed and relaxed. We stayed in the Green Rabbit room and it was beautiful and so comfortable. It had its own private balcony that was perfect for relaxing in the evenings. Breakfast each morning was delicious and filling. Lori and the staff were so accommodating and their attention to detail made our stay extra special. Lori’s homemade cookies is a perfect example! I would definitely recommend this B&B and hope to visit there again one day.

My wife & I stayed for 2 weekend nights at Pettigru Place B&B to end a 12-day pleasure tour of the Southeast. Our lodging bar was set very high by our previous lodging spots, and Pettigru Place easily measured up with its beautiful front gardens & attractively furnished interiors & a comfortable Queen guest room (Hummingbird) & flavorful unique breakfasts. Randi greeted us on our arrival, and her levels of friendliness & hospitality were amazing; she also prepared our breakfasts, which were delicious & filling with lots of healthy variety. The owner Lori served us both mornings, while she made sure guests were introduced to one another & provided very helpful information about local attractions. We had chosen this B&B for its proximity to Bon Secours Wellness Arena, offering us a short walk to & from the facility on consecutive days/nights to attend sporting events. The rear private parking lot off a quiet alleyway was a very convenient option for vehicle security & access whenever we drove around town, and the side door entry allowed for easy in & out of the house. Our experiences @ Pettigru made us wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the comfort & solitude without being on a schedule. Every aspect of our stay was top notch, and we would definitely stay at Pettigru Place B&B again if we returned to Greenville.

We loved our 3 night stay. The room was lovely, location was very convenient, breakfasts were gourmet. Our host Laurie was very accommodating and helpful. We could get to anything in Greenville within minutes. The outdoor seating areas were charming.

We just returned from a long weekend visit to Greenville to celebrate our anniversary and stayed three nights at the Pettigru Place Bed and Breakfast. It was our first time visiting Greenville and we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay! Lori and her staff were so welcoming and helpful. We learned a lot about the area and appreciated suggestions for restaurants and things to do in the Greenville area. The breakfasts were outstanding (loved the roasted mango and frozen lemonade tart). We enjoyed visiting with other couples and the room was cozy and had all the special touches that make you feel pampered. We appreciated the stocked beverages and ice machine just outside our room. It’s the little things- like a “to go bag” of breakfast items for us to take to the airport since we had to leave really early our last morning. We really appreciate your thoughtfulness. We look forward to staying with you again the next time we visit Greenville!

We have stayed at Pettigru Place Bed and Breakfast several times in the past few years when visiting Greenville family. It is a perfect home-away-from-home and the hospitality is exceptional. The gourmet breakfast and wine and cheese provide an opportunity to meet other guests and enjoy good conversation. A lovely stay every time.

In celebration of my wife’s birthday, we stayed at the Pettigru Place B&B in Greenville, SC, from 5/30/2024 to 6/2/2024. This is our 3rd or 4th stay with the owner, Lori, and her staff. We couldn’t have had a better time. Pettigru Place is a gem in Greenville. Everything you need for a great stay is provided. Southern hospitality, comfortable rooms, a nice garden sitting area in which to relax. Afternoon wine and cheese if you’d like, and truly fabulous gourmet breakfasts. Some of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had have been at Pettigru Place. It’s only a short walk to the many great downtown restaurants and shops. Lori gave us recommendations on area dining and options for things to do in the area. The staff went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and had a good, stress-free stay. During the weekend, we did a waterfall hike and took a relaxing tour around Lake Jocassee. Both were great. If you’re heading to Greenville, I highly recommend Pettigru Place.
