What a relaxing and enjoyable extended weekend my wife and I had. Even though the weather did not completely cooperate, the stay at the Greenway House Bed and Breakfast made up for the negative in the weather. The home is beautiful and the landscaping is even nicer. What a treat staying in a beauriful room, with working fireplace and beautiful large bathroom. There was a beautiful porch right off the bedroom with a swinging swing which faced south. Beautiful!!! Candace and Paul, the innkeepers supplied us with marvelous breakfasts. They were more than gracious. Wisconsin B & B Asso does permit the staff to enter your room or change towels. There are very adequate hooks to hang your used towels, not like commercial hotels that have one or none. When we commented on this, Candace made sure that we DID get fresh towels. The greatest thing was that there were no steps for us. This time of the year, not all the restaurants and stores are open, but enjoyed our meals at Chops, Adams Ribs and a real experience at the Ishnala Supper Club (Wisconsin Dells) A drive around Green Lake is a must. No straight road that circles, the Lake, so you have to weave in and out. Tree colors were a little behind, but will definitely return.

They really accomplished that unique style of being able to blend the old with the new seamlessly. My room was beyond adorable. The tub was perfection. The breakfast was some of the most delicious food I have ever had in a bed-and-breakfast.. It goes without saying that the entire town is safe and lovely.

We stayed at Greenway House in the Sherwood guest room. The house and our room were beautiful, full of interesting antique furniture. Candace and Paul, managers and cooks extraordinaire, had left clear instructions for us on the door when we arrived. Our room was ready for us. The house and our room were secure with entry codes for each door and very clean and comfortable. Our beautiful four poster king bed was extremely comfortable. Our room had a door out onto the porch which was a lovely spot to sit and listen to all the birds. There is plenty of parking right at the house. The breakfasts were delicious and very filling. Paul and Candace were lovely hosts and we enjoyed talking with them. Wine and coffee were always available in the dining room. Greenway House is in a beautiful area within walking distance to the center of Green Lake which boasts a lovely restaurant, Chops, a marina with a restaurant, several shops and gorgeous views of the lake. The Greenway house is a very stately and beautiful home. I would highly recommend staying here. It really felt like home away from home.

The house was so beautifully restored with a rich history. Katherine, the house staff was so sweet and helpful. Paul and Vivian provided beautiful breakfasts. The beds and pillows were super comfortable. The walking showers were easy to get in to and had soap, shampoo, conditioner dispensers. We loved the location being close to town and the lake. We were lucky to have some of the owners dining with us at breakfast and he told us all about remodeling the house and what the house was like before they started. It was very interesting and I'm glad we were able to talk to him.

The cottage was beautiful. Very nicely updated and clean. The reason for the 1 star is that we had initially booked 3 nights and due to a family emergency inquired about leaving a night early. The inn keeper named Candace graciously agreed not to charge us for the early departure. We quickly realized that offer was not honored which was disappointing. The actual town was small yet cute and Sassafras had wonderful service and excellent coffee. Also the town nearby called Ripon had a nice brewery called Knuth that was fun. Highly recommend the area just don’t book with Greenway if you are seeking flexibility.

Every aspect of our stay was wonderful! The bed was extremely comfortable, the room was exquisite and we loved having access to a private porch. Breakfasts were gourmet and we really were sad to leave!

We celebrated my husband's birthday by staying two nights at the Greenway House Bed and Breakfast in Green Lake, WI. The Greenway House is a restored, historic home less than a block from Green Lake. It is a very fine restoration with furnishings compatible with its late 19th century origins. Our room was immaculately clean, with a large whirlpool tub, huge shower, very comfortable bed, several sitting options, a walkout porch and overlooked a very well kept lawn and patio area. Paul, our innkeeper and cook, prepared wonderful breakfast entrees and is an engaging and interesting conversationalist. Green Lake itself is a resort town with lots to do nearby and good restaurants. We'd definitely stay at Greenway House again.

We had a wonderful visit to the Greenway B&B! The room was quant, warm and well appointed with a fireplace & jet tub. Of the many highlights, our innkeepers Paul and Candice are a magnificent couple and team working together to create a phenomenal experience. The morning breakfast(s) were extremely delightful and each morning was filled with a delicious & filling meal! This is a must stay location for so many reasons—we enjoyed a needed getaway and returned refreshed—thanks to this amazing bed and breakfast.

My wife and I, along with another couple stayed for 3 nights while on a brief golf trip at Lawsonia. This B&B exceeded our expectations in every way possible. We stayed in the Oakwood room, which was large and private at the end of the second floor. Paul and Candace were fun hosts and we enjoyed our time with them. The breakfasts each morning were fantastic, especially Paul’s scrambled eggs! The house itself is well maintained and very clean and the huge wrap around porch, and outdoor patio made enjoying a glass of wine outside relaxing. There was always bottled water, coffee and other items available at all times of the day. We will definitely return to this gem of a B&B!
