High Season Farm Luxury Cottages

We stayed for one night in transit from Knysna to Aquila, but we WISH we had stayed for longer! We booked a cottage for 4 but were upgraded to one which slept 6 and just had the most beautiful views of the mountains. Honestly, it was breath-taking and none of the pictures I've seen on here even do it justice. The views were beautiful so we spent lots of time on our patio (our cottage was right in front as you drive in), simply sipping wine and enjoying it. Also, the cottage was exceptionally clean and comfortable, very spacious and had everything we needed. The rooms were stunningly decorated and the beds were the most comfortable we have ever slept in! Even my teenagers agreed with this. And we have slept in very comfortable beds before as we are very picky. We enjoyed walking around the farm and sitting by the poolside, which was lovely. A peacock walked right up to us near the pool which was amazing and the cows mooing in the fields were so lovely to listen to. Everything was really peaceful and idyllic. You will possibly be woken up by cocks cockadoodaling in the morning, but this didn't bother us at all as we like rising early on holiday. All communication with Jani and staff we pleasant and welcoming. I would definitely recommend you to stay there if you are looking for beautiful, peaceful surroundings and I wouldn't hesitate to go back one day - in fact I definitely know I will, for a longer stay and more exploration of Hermanus itself, which I believe is lovely too. The team was amazing. I could not go on the original date and with 2 short messages , they were able to accommodate me. I have 2 kids (2 years and 1 year old) and the accommodation was kid friendly. So many animals on the farm made the stay unforgettable.

Only stayed for one night in transit, but had a great night. Warm and cosy - I can only imagine sitting on the deck in the summer and simply soaking in the sunshine. Easy booking (we were upgraded to a larger cottage when other guests extended), simple checkin, and great communication.

We joined the Hermanus Camino, the first nights stay of our adventure. Clean, thankfully for the hot water bottles. Nice hot water. The only frustration was we arrived at 14:00 but we weren’t allowed into the premises. Let alone couldn’t check in. Thankfully our driver took us into Hermanus for a drink & went out of the way to bring us back @ 16:00😗

High Season Luxury Farm is absolutely beautiful, relaxing, warm, peaceful and the staff are always friendly and welcoming!

Love, love, love this farm, the people and the animals. What an amazing and stunning farm. Will definitely stay here again. It was such a peaceful and tranquil stay. The people are so friendly and Tasneem are the best. She came every day to check up on us. She is amazing. The views are breathtaking and the Nguni Cattle and Colly dogs are beautiful and so friendly. Awesome, Awesome, Awesome stay
