Was in Stow for business and decided to drive down the night before. Booked a suite last minute. Excellent: clean, very large room and decent shower. Looked a lovely pub. Did not have a chance to try out the food.

Wonderfully clean and welcoming - The Witney was perfect for us. Amazing ensuit and the room comfortable and nicely decorated. Tea and filter coffee available in the room too ! Could have done with a few biscuits ! breakfast (cooked) very filling and nicely cooked , the continental, ham lovely sadly cheese had begun to curl, pastries fresh ! Evening meal :- burger in brioche bun - very very good, perfectly cooked and the haddock and chips - awesome ! Bar staff - fab banter and very friendly, eager to please and great fun to joke with ! Thank you for having us !!

Stayed 4 nights and totally knocked over by the quality and customer care shown by the staff- am recovering from a serious injury and nothing was too much trouble. They even helped me up stairs to my room which was awkward as I walked with a crutch. In particular Amy simply could not do enough to help and support- an absolute jewel and I was delighted to meet the Manageress/landlady so was able to tell her how impressed I was. Superb food as well- went basic with the Shepherd's Pie and it was top class. Just one word of advice- suspect restaurant can get very busy so advise booking a table in advance.

Awesome place to stay a few nights. My husband and I enjoyed a lovely stay our first few nights in England. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The pub was warm and welcoming, the food excellent. Our room was comfy and cozy, had all the amenities one would need. Lovely location to explore the area. Highly recommend. Valentines dinner was great.

What a great little Inn. Food great and room was lovely and comfortable. Staff were helpful and friendly. Thankyou especially to Tracy doing the breakfast shift 😊. It’s in a picturesque village with easy access to Cotswold places to visit. Definitely stay here again

We had over a months stay in Great Rissington and dined at the Lamb numerous occasions. Not only does it have a wonderful atmosphere and friendly, welcoming staff, Elliot & Kathleen are wonderful chefs and the food is consistently amazing.

Jan 25-27th 2025 - fantastic place to stay, central for sightseeing, friendly staff. Quiet location, comfortable bed. Great breakfast and the roast beef was delicious. We stayed for my husband birthday and it was a nice touch to get Prosecco and a card.

The Lamb at Great Rissington has recently been taken over by a charming couple (Kathleen and Elliot), both of whom have worked as chefs in Michelin star restaurants, so the menu was imaginative and catered for a wide variety of tastes. The accommodation and food was significantly better than when we stayed in 2023, and the refurbished bar and restaurant area looks great. Our room (Stow) was spotless and cosy. The whole team are incredibly friendly and accommodating. We are really looking forward to our next visit in the Spring. Thanks for making our weekend in The Cotswolds so magical.
