Stayed here several times this month for business. Check in quick and easy, facilities good, rooms were cosy and had everything needed… fairly clean, just really hot rooms but fans were supplied. Comfortable beds and showers were good points.

We stayed in room 202 for £100 for a night . The room is basic , quite a good bathroom but the shower attachment was broken. The biggest problem was the heat in the room it was just so hot , no AC but I couldn’t understand how it could be so warm . The tiny window overlooking a building site gave little relief , never have I stayed anywhere so hot . Staff were pretty uninterested , in fact the staff on the way out told me their own problems with cleaning such hot rooms , really ! This was the only hotel available to us near to a birthday party but seriously think very carefully before booking this hotel

Had a lovely roast dinner with my family today, the service and the food was outstanding!! I will definitely be returning and passing on the good word to my friends!! Thank you so much to the host and chef

Stayed for one night to do some sightseeing in Gravesend, chose Clarendon as it has ideal central location on riverside, free parking and competitive price via ***********. It has 25 rooms, 13 for guests and 12 for permanent residents. Check-in was fine and the small double room was cosy, comfortable and well equipped - unusual to get a microwave and full size fridge in wardrobe! I ate out for dinner and breakfast as the Hotel had a fire in its kitchen in mid August 2022 so cannot offer any meals at the moment. I would happily stay again especially if they addressed following constructive polite suggestions: Room - please provide a separate non-slip shower mat for bath - it has non-slip surface at one end only - a cheap fix and some glasses for water. Since you provide a fridge why not put some complimentary bottled water in the room? Bar/Restaurant - I returned at 8pm having been told bar would stay open until at least 9pm as it depends on number of customers - to be fair manager Ben opened up and served me one drink to take to my room. In the morning there was a regular small business club who had a continental breakfast. Hang on what about offering it to guests?? Self Promotion - I asked if they had a town plan or map - no - yet the Tourist Office is a 5 minute walk away and offers them free - I even left one with the front desk. I mentioned I had eaten at an Italian Restaurant Julius Caesar - staff said owner Gino is a friend of Hotel - if so why not have a promotion linked to the restaurant especially while kitchen is closed. I think this Hotel has bags of potential especially if someone like the Hotel Inspector Alex Polizzi were to visit.

Booked through ***********. Quite excited to begin with. 1 nights stay and breakfast but end up Breakfast wasnt included. Parking good and free. Hotel had a kitchen fire a few weeks ago so no meals. I guess breakfast easy to prepare. Room was clean tidy but very small. Only had a small winow half was glazed and looking over rooftops. Very hot inside which couldnt be helped. No AC. Couldnt sleep all night. The room was for a single not double. Felt quite claustrophobic. Hated the little window. For 90 quid Definately not worth it. It was room 201. I will not come again but stay at my favourite Premier Inn in the town. Sadly sold out

Lunch was lovely the only thing we didn’t appreciate was the female bar tender asking if we were alcoholics. My friend and I were off work and enjoying the sunshine might I add not stumbling and or slurring. But each and every time we went to bar woman asked have you a drink problem 🤷🏻‍♀️ Really
