Ashfield House

Fantastic one night stay - and incredibly good value for money ! There’s a nice honesty bar, commentary sherry and flap Jack and biscuits and Prosecco. The rooms were very sweet and comfortable. The breakfast was the BEST I’ve had in a long time - superbly cooked and lots of it. The people working there were ever so nice and there’s plenty of parking spaces. Really can’t wait to go back and stay again 😀

We stayed here for one night, a bit of a last minute night away and it was perfect for that. We stayed in the garden room which was very roomy, lovely comfy bed and nice touches, Prosecco, good breakfast. Be careful getting in to the car park if you have a big car it’s a bit tight :)

What a stunning wee place! As it was Christmas time, the fire was lit in the entrance hall and there was a lovely tree. Situated right in the heart of the village with a great pub next door. Our room was spotless and the bed comfy. Breakfast was delicious too. Couldn't recommend it high enough!

What a lovely little hotel situated right in the middle of the village a stones throw from all the pubs and restaurants! Free parking in the heart of the village a bonus! Met by host and shown to really comfortable bedroom with everything you need for a night away...little extras like prosecco a bonus! Plenty of choice for breakfast and all freshly cooked! All in all a lovely relaxing night away!

For those whom haven’t visited the stunning village of Grassington. You’re missing out on one pretty place. And a step back in time. We were lucky enough to arrive when they were filming “ All Creatures Great And Small” People and actors dressed their appropriate attire….costumes for what period they were filming. And old vehicles here and there, which was brilliant. We were booked in at Ashfield House. Just after the Devonshire pub, turn left up a small but lovely driveway, and around the back to a lovely little car park. On entry was met with a warm a friendly welcome. Taken to a room that overlooked a beautiful well looked after garden. The room was stunning, with a king size bed. Facilities for making hot drinks, tea,coffee, & hot chocolate. The bathroom was also stunning and very clean. The room had everything you needed. At breakfast, the tables were well spaced apart, and had a great array of different serials, as well as cooked dishes. We had the Yorkshire full breakfast. And it was delicious. Fantastic b&b in a central location in the village.. the room was excellent with access to a small outside area on the first floor and came with complimentary Prosecco and cakes. the b&b also has a lovely garden area with tables to sit at and they also serve up a great breakfast.. when we are next back in Grassington we will almost certainly book the Ashfield..
