Really nice place to stay We spent 3 nights in the cabin. It is located on a farm on the John Day River. The cabin is roomy, with comfortable furniture to include a very comfortable bed - my key need for any place to stay. Everything you need is included. The owners are really nice and were great to talk to. They have 3 wonderful dogs. It was the best VRBO place that we have ever stayed in. I highly recommend it.

Great location for exploring John Day Park locations. Very comfortable. Make sure you download the directions beforehand as there is no WIFI in the surrounding areas.

Where the deer and antelope play. Very comfortable. Just one bedroom, but plenty of room for cots. Saw deer, antelope and turkeys from the firepit! Heard the sand hill cranes heading somewhere.

Great cabin in Kimberly Cabin was great and the area scenic. There's not a lot around there, so this is a bit of a welcome oasis. Could've been cleaner and they had a silverfish issue...but overall it was a good stay.

This was a great vacation getaway. The cabin has all the comforts of home in the middle of nowhere (or the middle of everywhere, depending on how you look at it). This is a great base for exploring the John Day country and is very close to the Sheep Rock unit of the Fossil Beds National Monument.

Welcoming home base for John Day explorations We spent a lovely long weekend staying at the Cozy Cabin in Kimberly and we look forward to staying there again. The cabin is well-located between the three units of the John Day National Monument that made for an excellent first foray into this unique geography of Oregon.Amanda and her family made us feel right at home and the cabin has a great view across the valley to enjoy home-cooked meals while watching the sunlight play on the fields and valley walls at the start or end of a days adventure. Our daughter was thrilled to find two more girls close to her own age for hours of fun playing together on their spring break and highly recommends the swingset!
