We felt very lucky to stay in this historic building. Looking out of our bedroom window we had views of the Alhambra ! I think there are only 4/5 rooms. We had a "suite" which was a huge bathroom with antique tiles, bathrobes and slippers. This led down steps to a "corridor" with an attached wardrobe (with a safe) and dressing area, leading up a few steps to the bedroom with its comfortable bed. You could hear the fountain in the courtyard. Lovely staff, one of whom helped me with some lost property from a previous hotel and gave us a map with explanations of the main sites. She even carried one suitcase up the stairs for us. The breakfast was in a room shared with a sister hotel and had to be booked in advance as it's small room. Marie, who was the staff member there, was energetic and fun. Despite the lack of our Spanish we had a laugh with her and she made breakfast a cheerful start to the day. The hotel is situated on an historic road within easy striking distance of many sites. We used the public transport system to arrive and depart. The small buses (C buses?) which we caught got us up to the Alhambra and even back from there after a late night tour. We also used them to get to the Sacromonte (Flamenco caves) and to a viewpoint in the Albaicin. You do need cash for this Euro 1.40 for each single trip- they don't take cards. A memorable stay.

What a beautiful historic building ! Can feel the nobility of the past owners ! Full of character and charm just like Granada ! Huge rooms and large courtyards .....we had a junior suite with a view of the Alhambra !! Friendly service ( Raquel was a gem ) Organised a taxi for us at 5 am to go the train station ! Super location ......close to the Plaza Neuva as well as the old Albacyn and Sacromonte areas Plenty of restuarants and shops nearby Alhambra is a 15 min walk
