I was unable to sleep in my room because the ceiling was infested with bats, and I heard them clawing and squeaking all night. After bringing it to the attention of the staff, it became clear that they not only are aware of the problem, but they will not even admit that it has caused their guests a negative experience (I am not the only one who complained during my stay! The couple in the room next to me said the same thing), and they certainly have done nothing to rectify it. The hotel staff have proceeded to harass me on my personal cell phone number (texts and calls) months after my stay in response to reviews I have left on other platforms. I have had to block three different numbers. This is unprofessional at best and abusive at worst. I loved my time in Nicaragua but this has easily been one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in over a decade of international travel. They will probably respond to this review with more harassment, and I will block those numbers too. I will not stop posting reviews until they stop abusing my personal contact information. Other guests deserve to know that this is the type of treatment they will get if they stay here. Book this hotel at your own risk.

Booked a room here for one night at short notice after problems at our initial accommodation. We were delighted to find a friendly team, great rooms, nice sheets on the big comfy bed, hot showers, lovely gardens & pool area. Wish we had come here in the begining. We had to leave early the next morning so missed breakfast - they couldn't do enough to help us, ensuring we had drinks before we left. High standards & quality, very deserving of its good rating.

Excellent hotel! Friendly staff, who gave amazing recommendations on what to do and where to eat. Great clean and comfortable rooms, awesome pool, and the complementary breakfast was delicious. Definitely staying here next time we visit.

I spent several days at this wonderfully welcoming and peaceful hotel before starting a road trip. Pool area is pristine as are the comfortable rooms. Breakfast was really good and staff were incredibly helpful. I booked a very good value and reliable airport transfer through the hotel and made use of the reasonably priced laundry service too. The hotel is family owned and they take great pride in hosting guests.

I stayed for four nights the first week of May and it was a great choice! Everyone who works there are super nice and you can tell that are genuine. Very polite and helpful. Breakfast is perfect. The rooms are very clean, good size, and very comfortable. My room had a beautiful view of the pool and the volcano in the background. I highly recommend! And the dogs are a plus!

On 21st of Feb 2024 I was attacked violently by the wife of the owner because I was wearing a bikini in the garden where the pool, chairs and breakfast area are. The owner was there and part of this attack too. There are physical injuries and a forensic doctor's report. They also tried to keep the money for the remaining night (we recovered that). I am taking legal action against this assault as well as their attempt to intimidate me and lie to authorities and people. They are also leaving bad reviews for my business saying I have been retained in Nicaragua which is another illegal action and proof of their delinquent character. Unlawful people, disgustingly dishonest and a very unsafe hotel.

Marcia and Michael are the best. This is the best place to stay in Granada - I highly recommend. The rooms are spacious and beautiful, the pool is amazing, and I loved the breakfast place. 100 per cent recommend this place!

I found perfection in the Hotel Jardin de Granada, Nicaragua. The place is gorgeous they paid attention to every detail as they created this gorgeous refuge. The view of the volcanos and the city with all the amazing green vegetation is simply incredible. The owners Marcia and Michael are fantastic I can’t sing enough of their praises. Moving in permanently would be the only correct thing to do…

Hotel Jardín de Granada was a perfect stay. Marcia and Michael were so accommodating, mind, helpful, friendly, funny, engaging, etc. - I could seriously go on! The hotel itself is beautiful, truly feeling like a secret garden. It was clean, beautiful, quiet, and made us feel luxurious. The breakfast options were generous, and after the first time we ordered the kitchen remembered what we liked, so that even if we ordered to our rooms they made sure we received things the way we did the first time. They really made us feel taken care of and welcomed to Granada, and it was nice to come back "home" to a friendly face asking about our day. They liased with all of our tour guides, and helped us get transportation to the airport - it was the perfect stay!
