Apartamentos Los Tilos

This was our fourth visit, and again we liked it very much, as already said by others, the place might feel a bit outdated, but I prefer this over sterile hotel rooms. The apartments are quite spacious and have large balconies. The personnel is very friendly and rooms are cleaned every two days including sheets and towels. Also if you don't like a crowded swimming pool this is an excellent choice, in general only 15% of the sunbeds are used, and when you want to swim lanes you don't have to worry that it is busy, if three people are swimming on the same moment it is already above average. I think there is room for some small improvements with little to no costs: -The lightbulbs are very bright, especially in the sleeping rooms, some less wattage will be more comfortable. -Replace the Coffee machine for a simple Water Cooker. -Upon arrival a full scan of your passport is made, from a privacy standpoint it would be good to remove the photo and social security number, I am not sure or they also keep a digital copy of it.

I’ve stayed here a few times, but this will be my last , What’s great about the hotel is the location, big pool and great balcony. Beyond that, the rooms have not been decorated in the past few years. The sofa fabric is sewn up the bedding caused itching and coughs and the sockets are not securely fixed to the wall. This was a ‘put your head down and sleep’ hotel. The pool looks great, but was packed. I’m reading on trip advisor the owners own some of the apartments, it looks like apart from the pool, there had been no investment and I would say this is a 1 star hotel due to some of the flaws that’s if the hotel was loved - would have been fixed in the past few years. Seems the owners apartments have been invested in. It’s also worth adding that it would have been nice for the owners to use the restaurant as a breakfast, snack, lunch place - but it appears to be a low key attempt at fine dining. We are coming back in October and paying less for Buenos Airies which is a hotel that the owners care about. We do love the location of this hotel, but that’s about it. When you go on holiday - you want a hotel that’s more than a good location. You want a nice experience. It’s budget friendly tho - so great for those wanting low cost stays. Just don’t have high expectations and you’ll be fine. We’ve just matured our preference in stay.

Wonderful location next to yumbo centre. Good administration. Wonderful heated pool with disabled access. Secure. Good accommodation. Small kitchen. Great balcony. Comfortable bedroom. Bathroom dated like everything else but everything works effectively. Quiet when we there but may be noisy around pool in school holidays

I booked this Apartment Twelve months in advance through Booking. com website , for arrival on the 18th June 2022 the photos on there site looked fabulous but alas its not what I got , does anybody think it fair that given that I booked 12 months in advance , I got 3 days notice that the swimming pool was under renovation , therefore the property could charge me a cancelation fee , if I cancelled It was a building site so be very wary of the lovely photos on the website , which in my case are outdated

Het gebouw, de kamers, het zwembad het is allemaal netjes en zeer proper. Het volume van de warmwaterboiler is echter te klein, je kan niet met twee na elkaar douchen, da's niet meer van deze tijd. De geluidsoverlast tijdens het carnaval is ENORM en tot 4:30 Zou ik opnieuw boeken, nee... een warme douche is echt het minimum.

Basic. Maar alles in orde. Vriendelijk personeel. Propere kamers, andere ruimten en zwembad. Tip top. Ligging is vrij centraal. De zee is een kwartiertje lopen. Bussen stoppen voor de deur. Yumbo shopping aan de overkant van de straat. Markt op loopafstand.
