From the moment we arrived it was 5 stars! The staff were unbelievably friendly and helpful and the service was second to none. It really felt like nothing was too much. It also had a lovely laid back feel to the place with 5 star quality. We stayed for 3 nights and had 6 drives which was perfect. There was an abundance of food provided all throughout the day with plenty of options between meat, fish and veggie for dinner. The spa treatments were lovely although it’s worth noting the spa/gym is located at bush lodge and involves a 15 min transfer from water lodge in the jeep so we only went the once. The rooms were lovely and spacious with great views from the outside decking and pool. As for the game drives, they were something else. A special mention to Zouks who was our ranger. He was incredible and tailored each drive to what the guests wanted to see. We saw 4/5 of the big 5 but did see cheetahs as well as an array of other animals.

I just love all aspects of Pumba, food, staff, game viewing all perfect. I have just returned from my 5th visit and would love to think I will go back another time.

We went to Pumba specifically to see the white lions and were treated to some spectacular viewing of the pride. We really enjoyed all the game drives with our ranger Sappo who was very knowledgeable and also good fun with a dry sense of humour. Our lodge was really nice and comfortable and were told that Nelson Mandela had also stayed in this lodge. The food and drinks were very good, especially good were the little toasties put out for the early morning game drives. Thanks to everyone for making our stay very enjoyable.

Have just got back from an amazing 2 week holiday in SA. We stayed at Pumba for 4 nights, maybe one too many. Overall had a lovely experience. Seeing everything except the illusive Leopards. Having staying here a few years ago just after Covid, I do feel the rooms are looking a little tired now. Staff were very friendly & helpful. On my experience the food at night (especially the meat) was over cooked & tough...maybe that's me just being picky. I would recommend Pumba, the best part for me is the picnic on the sunset drives, great experience.

We travelled to Pumba as a family of 4 (children aged 12 and 10). It was absolutely perfect. The game drives, the rooms, the restaurant and a few extra activities were the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation. The staff was spectacular and Thomas (our guide for the stay) was the all-star. His knowledge of the animals and the stories he shared will be topics we talk about for years. We cannot say enough positive things about the reserve. Do not hesitate to book.
