Gouves Bay by Omilos Hotels

Very friendly staff who go the extra mile. Location is good about 20 min from the airport .The spa that's on the hotel premises is very good too.

This may be a bit of a long review I apologise in advance but I always find a long honest review very helpful. Arrival - We arrived late at night 5 minutes before the all inclusive bar closed, the guy on reception took our bags to a side and gave us a wristband to go and get a drink straight away which was very welcomed. We then returned back to reception where we were checked in and told how everything worked, where everything was and provided with a packed lunch. Room - Room was great, I’ve seen a few reviews stating the beds are not comfortable but we didn’t have this issue at all and both slept very well. Aircon fully worked and was not noisy. Spacious room with shower gels / soap & hair dryer all provided. Breakfast - Breakfast was very good with a good range of continental and English Breakfast. Lunch / Dinner - These two meals were the same set up with lots of fresh salad and hot food. All the food was extremely tasty in this hotel and probably one of the best all inclusive food I’ve ever had at a hotel. The waiting staff are excellent and a special mention to Tonia who worked in the restaurant, she was absolutely lovely and made a real effort getting to know guests and was lovely to talk to her each meal. Bar - The Bar was very good and all staff that worked on the bar were also excellent and welcoming. They were always happy to see us which was a nice touch. The drinks were of good quality and cocktails were made fresh and not from machines. Draught Beer was very nice. Entertainment - There was no entertainment during the day, this may be due to the season not officially starting yet. There was a live band on the Tuesday who were absolutely brilliant. There was Karaoke one night but the rest of the nights there was no entertainment - again this may be due to us being too early in the season so I can’t comment much further than that. Location - The location is on a beach front with bars & restaurants & shops a 10 minute walk in both directions. There wasn’t much open when we were there but we were just before the season had properly started and we could see everyone getting this shops bars and restaurants ready to open. All in all we loved our stay at Gouves Bay Hotel and are already planning to return during the peak season next year.

We had really great time! We visited with family in June and the weather was perfect, food was good, hotel clean and nice and with fantastic, absolutely lovely hotel team. Paula and Rio was the sweetest, kindest and funny people to be around! Great evening drinks and dinners. We had a beautiful time with our daughter. Thank you! Good communication by bus with cities to visit, near airport, beautiful beaches, car rental close by. We recommend!
