Loved loved loved 185 on Beach. Booking with Jeanette was so seamless, and she was so kind, detailed and straight forward. No hidden fees, she worked promptly to address my questions and knew all the things that would matter for me/my family and proactively addressed them. And the place is BEAUTIFUL, SAFE, and CONVENIENTLY located. Exactly as pictured and the decor is so intricate -- a lot of attention to detail there!! The special touches were toys and resources for the kids, kids cribs/chairs/gates, water safety stuff for swimming for all of us, excellent service from the staff, laundry services, frequent room refreshing, baby sitting services, and generous breakfasts. It was a super wonderful experience overall and we will most certainly be back!

We had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Not only were we blessed with breathtaking views, we were also welcomed by an amazing team of staff who were extremely helpful. A special thanks to Fikile and Benard who gave us a warm welcome and were always happy to assist with anything we needed. Our room and all the facilities were very clean and not to mention a huge bedroom and equally sized bathroom. A rare find. A special thanks also to our host Jeanette Loring who was truly inspiring in the respect and kindness she showed to her staff members. I will be back, this was one of my all time favorites.

Very nice experience in Gordon´s bay! We loved the perfect commucation with the team, all went by Whats App and was arranged easily. Unfortunately we had a water cut for several hours which was without prenotice, and I had a business meeting. So bad luck for me! Staff brought water cans straight away but washing your hair with cans and cold water is not the nicest experience. But it was not the fault of the appartment. However... What a incredible view on the ocean, the sound of the waves! Really exceptional!! Every room is different, owner sends picutures so the room can be choosen in relation to the wishes. All really quiet and private, but you feal safe even without security staff! We would definately come back and choose the Starlight room!

The room was fantastic, clean and cozy and the bed were incredibly comfortable.. the staff were very accommodating and welcoming.. completely enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was also good.. it was definitely an excellent choice of accommodation and would definitely visit again

We were very comfortable in the Penthouse, with exquisite views, and protected from the very strong prevailing winds. Be warned that access to the Penthouse is via an external staircase! Fortunately staff were on hand to assist with our luggage, some of which was very bulky.

We found ourselves in a predicament on a Sunday evening after arriving at a place we had booked, only to discover it was horrible. I called Jeanette, who not only offered us accommodation right away but also gave us a discount. Within half an hour, we arrived and were met with such warmth and hospitality that we were completely overwhelmed. Jeanette and her staff are wonderful, the views are breathtaking, the penthouse is beautiful, and every little detail has been thoughtfully considered. The breakfast is also delicious. This was such a fantastic experience! Thank you so much! I can not recommend 185 on Beach Boutique Suites and Apartments enough.

185 On Beach is one of the most beautiful places I ever stayed in. The view is just incredible and we enjoyed the sunset over the sea. The whole set up of guesthouse is made for your comfort and the staff very hospitable. Jeanette, the co-owner kept in touch since our booking and made sure that everything was to our satisfaction during our stay.
