Melia Grand Hermitage

This was a great choice for our holiday. From the time we arrived, to the time we left, we experienced a high level of service and accommodating staff. We choose to purchase the "the level" upgrade, which in our opinion, is a wise choice. Rooms: The rooms are very spacious, well kept and clean. The beds are big and wide and both of us slept extremly well. We purchased a seaview room, which was a good choice. The daily cleaning was very satisfactory and of high standard. The life saving air conditioning worked very satisfactory. The hotels was quiet at night and we had no problems with noise or sutch. Restaurants: The main restaurant could be very busy at times. But as we purchased "The Level" upgrade, we had the option to eat at a more quiet restaurant only for The level guests. There where a wide variety of different food to choose from, combined with daily specialities. Ex. sushi (some days). Other options to choose from were an American, Italien and bulgarian restaurants which we did not try. During the day, other options were avaliable. Burger, Pizza and sandwich, combined with a variety of soft drinks and alchoholic beverages and coffee. Pool and activities: The main pool was very nice and there we allmost allways available sunchairs. "The Level" upgrade gave access to a private and more quiet pool sorrounded by a spacious park area with sunbeds. The area also gave access to a private bar and lounge area. During the day the staff would come by and take drink orders or bring icecream when possible. The animation team made great efforts to activate any guest who wanted to participate. Water aerobics, dart, yoga, pool volleyball and waterpolo where daily arranged. Outside the hotel you had the option to explore the markeds, small shops, bars and restaurantes, if you wanted to. All in all, this was a great hotel to stay in. We experiensed no problems at all and everywhere we went, we were met by a positive and accommodation staff. We would certainly come back!

We had really enjoyed our stay at Melia grand, in my opinion it’s the perfect hotel for family vacation. I don’t understand the bad reviews. We were there at the highest season alot of families and the staff were great at doing everything as it should be, they were very helpful and active. The rooms were clean and very spacious. The food was delicious and varied, alot of food all day long for both childrens and adults. The slides were perfect for the kids, they had much fun. The animation team were perfect and energetic in a really great way, the hotel should be very proud of such a team. The private beach is beautiful and very close to the hotel (100 meters walking distance) The park and greenary around the hotel is beautiful. They have shows every night for kids and the whole family. And you can go walking outside the hotel where there is alot of stores and restaurants and games around. There is really nothing to complain about. We will come back

The hôtel is vert nice. Food, accomodation. A lot of things to do during the day. Vicky and Eva from animation team are the best on the stage. Lots of different activitées are proposed, also for children. Staff members are friendly and taking good Care of us. We feel well and we have fun. Many thanks,

Really good service! Clean room, good food. We recommend book a table in "The Vine" and "Al dente" restaurants. It is hard to be hungry during the day. Great thanks for the animation team! It is no way to be bored. A lot of activities for children in Kids Club and for adults also - volleyball, water polo, water volleyball, water gym, fitness, Zumba, yoga and more. Candy, Eva, Marto, Edi, Marti and all rest of the team, you do amazing job! See you in the future (maybe)!

The hotel is really awesome! Very clean! Spacious rooms, really king size bed, huge bathroom with 2 sinks, shower and bath separate. Food delicious, a wide variety of different dishes, coctails are top notch! The only complaint is that staff ignored the sign on the door "do not disturb" while walking through the rooms refilling mini bars. They were very loud, knocked and even entered the room during my baby nap time! So what's the point to use do not disturb sign, if it's means nothing to the staff??

Amazing place to spend long weekend, if you are located in Bulgaria or Romania. Also great option, if you fly to Varna. Breathtaking view, polite professionals, very well equipped. Even though it's an all-inclusive family hotel, do not hesitate to hit it just for a "sweet escape" weekend
