Disappointed with our stay at Hilton Surfers Paradise.
We stayed on the 5th floor, and the experience was far below our expectations. Loud music from the surrounding area went on between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m., waking up our entire family several times throughout the night. It was very difficult to get proper rest.
Also, we only received complimentary bottled water on the first day. After that, we were told to use the water dispenser, which didn’t feel appropriate for a hotel of this standard.
Compared to our previous stay at Hilton Sydney, this was very disappointing in both service and overall comfort.

This resort is located in a quiet and green golf area so it’s very comfortable. It takes about 15 to 20 mins to anywhere by driving in the Gold Coast area. The resort has literally everything you need (pool, golf course, tennis court and free breakfast for us).
It’s not new premise though and needs some renovations soon. But things are kept generally clean and tidy.
At the price I paid, it’s great value for money. My kids love this place. Will come again.

Excellent location opposite Kirra Beach. Small pool and gym, close to restaurants and a short walk from Coolangatta. 5 mins drive from Coolangatta Airport apartment is clean. Stayed on a 2nd floor two bedroom apartment, comfortable beds with a very spacious balcony. Great cafe downstairs. Cable TV, Kitchen, Laundry. Recommend for the price it was fairly decent value for money in an area which can vary greatly in price and quality.

1. Lobby bar
Service at the lobby bar was horrible , no one serve after sitting there for 10 min. Waiting for almost 20 min for a bowl of fries. There are 3-4 staffs on the floor and it was not busy at that time.
2. Breakfast buffet
Lack of food variety. Not worth it for $59 pp.
found flies around cooking area.

We stayed in a deluxe room. The hotel room was smaller than we thought, especially the bathroom. Although the room had been renovated, the overall condition of the hotel was worse than other Novotel hotels we stayed before. No wonder they have been renovating the hotel since last year.
The location was great, right at the Surfers Paradise. You could walk to the beach, shops, restaurants, cafes, fast food, pubs and supermarkets.

Our stay was pleasant and service was excellent. We turned up early to attend a convention nearby and they allowed us to check in early. All amenities were clean, but the walls are thin and we were woken to kids screaming early next door / in halls. Overall, would recommend and visit again.

The location is very good, very close to the beach, and there are many amusement facilities suitable for children nearby. The room is fully equipped, the electrical appliances and kitchenware are very new, and it comes with a parking space, which is suitable for self-driving tourists and business travelers.
You need to clean up and take away the garbage yourself when you check out, and there is no room service.

Nice yet very busy Hotel in a prime location on Gold Coast. not particularly well suited for children though okay. The balcony rails are a little bit low so one has to be particularly careful with children on the veranda though it is noted the hotel has a very clear label stating that children should be supervised at all times.
Breakfast is exorbitantly expensive for what it is but credit should be given that they did not charge a four year old.
The small swimming pools were quite nice and quite nice for a small child because they can be inside it and enjoy whole still close to a adult.
can speaking price versus quality of Hotel it was okay it wasn’t great value though the location was excellent. there would be better options for children for sure and for this reason would not likely rebook unless other better more child appropriate locations were not available.

We travelled to the Gold Coast for our wedding, and decided to stay in Sofitel Broadbeach, a hotel we stayed our first visit to the Gold Coast together. This time however, we also recommended our families to stay in the hotel too.
The stay was brilliant. Did not disappoint. We were met with champagne on entry, and had some special surprises in our room for our special occasion. The staff were so kind and gave the best recommendations to our parents while staying with the hotel.
The front service member Michael, from the US, was a credit to the team and went well above the call of his duty for our week we stayed.
Thank you Sofitel for the memories and the treasured time at your resort. Not only did you provide us with an excellent location and comfortable stay, but you recognized the importance of our visit.

staff were friendly and helpful. However, the room had several problems, the cold water tap did not work for the outside toilet, wooden doors rotten and moldy, few drawers broken and the worst was shown on the picture inside the master room drawer

TThienVery disappointed stay. They need to improve their buffet breakfast upgrade to free barista coffee at breakfast no minimum spend and extra fee for room service better housekeeping and add a kids club!
HHaeun Park (Hailey)Best hotel I've ever stayed. The location was perfect. It's literally 1-minute-far from a light rail station (Surfer's Paradise Station). And all the staff there was really really nice. Cleaning staff maintained our room super clean every day during our stay. I definitely would like to stay at the q1 resort and spa next time I visit gold coast. View was fantastic as well.
GGuest UserBeautiful view from room, lobby staff all looking sharp, service effective most of time, keen to solve problem when you bring the problem to their face.
Yet first resort/hotel I encountered that seemingly outsourced their phone service to somewhere else, every time I call, in room or outside, I would be told a “case” would be lodged in the system and passed to other staff who didn’t actually show up to fix the problem. In the very contrary if you go to the lobby and talk to the sharp looking folks there they get you problem solved/question answered right away. Odd.
IISKANDAR SHAHRILVery good location. Literally connected to Surfers Paradise tram station. Walking distance to Cavill Avenue. Polite staff. Good service.
GGuest UserI wanted to provide some feedback regarding my recent stay and the experience I had with your trip service desk. Overall, I had a positive experience, although there were a few minor hiccups along the way. However, I must commend your team for their prompt and efficient resolution of these issues.
The trip service desk demonstrated world-class customer service. The representatives patiently and politely listened to my frustrations and concerns, and they were dedicated to finding a satisfactory resolution that would benefit both the hotel and myself. I truly appreciate their efforts in going above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction.
This level of service was truly brilliant, and I am more than happy to recommend Trip.com to anyone looking to book their next holiday, whether it be a hotel or a flight. I have experienced firsthand how Trip.com takes excellent care of their customers and their bookings. The dedication and commitment to customer satisfaction are truly commendable.
Thank you once again for your outstanding service. I look forward to booking my future holidays with Trip.com and enjoying the same level of care and support.
GGuest UserLocation is near to surfer paradise north tram station. Nice ocean view. 1 aircon was leaking, the other aircon had noises. Housekeeping didn't turn up, we stayed for 7 nights. Dish washing detergent and sponge were not provided, we are unable to wash utensils at the kitchen. The dishwasher does not get the utensils clean...
AAnonymous UserThe room facilities are outdated, the word of the oven button is completely disappeared, the temperature and time cannot be set, the glass door of the shower room cannot be completely closed, the shower is completely wet, the mattress is super soft, barely sleep for one night, and then I can sleep on the sofa bed. I have booked this apartment several times before. The facilities in the room are good, but this room is really bad this time, I dare not book this apartment in the future!
FFlaviamesqI spent 3 days of my honeymoon at the hotel. We loved the room, it was very large and comfortable, and the hotel was well located. We also used the pool, sauna and spa. It was a very pleasant experience. I recommend the hotel. 🥰
GGuest UserHad to wait while one of our 2 rooms was made up but the room that was supposed to have been made up had only had the beds done. Toothpaste splattered across the bathroom mirror, toilet unscrubbed, no face washers, hand towel or bath mat though there were fresh towels on the beds.
The kitchen hadn't been done as there was no dish cloth or liquid for cleaning only 2 tea cups, no mugs and the fridge contained half eaten yoghurt, a full bag of grapes and a 1/4 of rotten watermelon its juices all crusted under it.
The well frosted freezer contained a partially eaten iceblock frosted into the freezer, obviously it had been there long enough to be frosted to it.
The kitchen had not been stocked with tea coffee sugar or most importantly for me milk (being a little fussy I bring my own tea and coffee)
I have doubts about if it was vaccumed due to the pills as several other items on the carpet. I mention the pills as we had young children with us.
The aircon remote had no batteries or back to it but we just swopped out the batteries for the T.V. remote
The cleaner sent to remedy this politely made it clear that she wasn't the one who'd made up the room. She cleaned the mirror restocked the face washers, hand towel and bath mat, removed the food from the fridge and freezer and upon request gave me a cloth for me to scrub off the crusted watermelon juice.
The beds were clean (I checked) with fresh sheets and comfortable. They were clear that they expected courtesy to others by not making alot of noise late at night or slamming doors. The pool area could have been cleaned. I don't know where the dirt came from but it was there when we arrived and still there when we left. The lobby chairs I wouldn't sit in, needed a good scrub with soap and water.
They unlocked the freezer at the Cafe late one night for us to buy ice cream. The staff were helpful and polite. The kids loved playing ping pong and swimming.
MMelzza23Unfortunately we did not have a great stay. We booked 3 apartments for a family vacation and all 3 had issues. All 3 apartments had faulty air cons. 1 air con didn’t work at all and also a toilet in that apartment didn’t work either. Also when we arrived, we found one of our carparks had a car parked in it and that 2 other guests were allocated the same Carpark as us. We all contacted the letting company and all guests were told to seek help from the apartment reception who then told us all to contact the letting company as they don’t deal with the private apartments and their carparks. So it was back and forth for hours, we even visited the office twice until the car was finally removed. In terms of the no aircon/ broken toilet room, we were told there was nothing the letting company could do about it as they only have 1 staff member on so we’d have to wait for the next day and that some of our cost would be refunded (We are still waiting). The next day, in the morning the staff member visited and said the aircon is broken and they’ll have to find another room so will get back to us. It was close to the letting company’s closing time and we hadn’t heard back so we followed up only to be told there’s no more rooms available and our family would have to make do with the fans. Our family members in the no aircon room got sick from the heat/ stuffiness even with the doors and windows open. The amenities - lagoon, gym and pool are awesome So it was really unfortunate we did not enjoy our stay due to the lack of upkeep of the apartments and the service.
