This property is a completely serene and surrounded by greenery throughout the route towards the property and well within the property. Even for a moment you won’t feel that the nature has left your side. Stone Wood Premier offers resplendent cottages across four categories. 1) The Nature View Cottages overlook the spice plantations surrounding the resort. 2) The Valley View Cottages present uplifting views of the valley. 3) Pool Front Cottages are premium living spaces with pool view. 4) They also have a Suite—the perfect choice if you wish to experience luxury in Gokarna. You can visit OM and Kudle beach from here which should take you 5-10 minutes by scooty, Paradise beach is also quite near but you will have to trek for the beach from a certain point. Other near by places would be Gokarna beach and Mahabaleshwar temple which would be about 15 minutes from the Hotel. We had chosen the room plan with Breakfast and stayed here for about 5 days. Throughout the stay there were definitely 2-3 items which were repeatedly there in their menu so it would be ideal if they can plan to rotate items more effectively but otherwise food is quite good, fresh stuff and good preparation and presentation. The service too is quite quick in terms of room service and snack/food serving in the rooms. The property has few activities lined up in the resort itself like Burma Bridge, Zipline, Nature Walk, etc which you can opt for if needed though some are chargeable one’s. Overall we had a pleasant stay here & definitely recommend this property.

Whilst Stone Wood Premier remains an excellent property, our experience was spoilt by inadequate supervision/management that led to sub-par level of services. Some examples during our one night stay: delayed check-in due to lack of staff to bring our luggage from the car (the front desk person was busy talking on his mobile and "did not see us" coming down the stairs), having to ask for hand towels and fused bulb replacement in the bathroom, repeatedly following up for breakfast (several items were served only at 7:30 am versus the given time of 7:00 am).

This is one the best budget hotel…. Close to nature and sea. Staff is friendly, food is good and services are great! Overall experience was really good and budget friendly; I don’t feel I was overcharged anymore. This hotel chain would my first priority in any city/state.

Amazing place, this resort is a hidden gem,surrounded by beautiful greenery and a tranquil ambiance that makes for perfect getaway. The stay was fantastic,with comfortable villas and excellent service, making it an unforgettable experience.

Was there for a family trip and puja rituals. Every time this resort is my holy abode for stay. The home like vibes and warmth pulls me again and again. Good food, honest service and beautiful picture perfect memories. Thanks to the chef for special occasion foods and the team at front desk for making all arrangements for sightseeing. Shall be back soon..... keep up the good work 👍

The hotel is serene ....and it being in the middle of a forest is surreal. They should have more variety of food but overall it was great. The breakfast was the best part. Staff is very friendly and helpful. This place feels close to nature....

We visited India from the UK for Christmas and stayed for three nights at Stone Wood Nature Resort with our three children. It's a comfortable place with a lovely swimming pool and some fun activities for the kids to do (zip line etc). The setting is really lovely with trees and flowers all around and lots of wildlife to see. There is a guided morning nature walk every day which we enjoyed. A highlight for us was the food, especially the morning buffet, which coming from the UK was very different and exciting for us with south Indian staples and plenty of fresh fruit. We also enjoyed the dinner buffet which changed each day. In addition the staff were very friendly and helpful. The resort isn't close to the town or beach but it's easy to get to either with your own transport or by asking reception to call an auto.
