Ombak Homestay

Staff was very friendly, excellent people. However, there were bed bugs in my room! I felt them crawling on me and when I popped up blood went all over the sheets. I saw several of them crawling in the sheets. I told them and I was moved to another room which did not have bed bugs. Still, I was not able to sleep. I messaged the owner, and I never heard from them. I saw them cleaning the mattress the next day, but not sure how they clean it or what chemicals they may use. Sheets and bathroom were not very clean either. The guys who worked there were excellent though, very nice people and I'm sure they were trying their best with the limited resources they have. Breakfast was really good, very good coffee. Price was very cheap, but you get what you pay for. I gave two stars for the kind service and good breakfast, but the room itself gets 0 stars.
