Recently stayed at this hotel. Sadly it doesn’t match the expectations online. Cleaning standards are below average and it wasn’t made obvious when booking that the bathroom is outside. The property location is a 10 minute walk to main area through poorly lit and uneven pathway. We found the staff a little unusual, always lounging around the pool and common areas. Breakfast was very nice. There is nearby farm animals including cockerels that make noise very early in the mornings continuously. It was fine for our stay but would advise staying near the main area for added security.

There are only a few rooms and almost all of them go out directly to the pool so it is like staying in your own private villa. Very intimate and private. The bed was super comfy and the pillows, too. Good air conditioning. The room was super spacious and the minifridge had the bottled water they refilled each day very cold. The personnel were all so caring and kind but the best one is Andry from the front desk. Super friendly, fixed all kind of stuff for us (tour, bikes and the horse taxi), made our stay even more lovely. She had the whole place going on smoothly. The pool was like an oasis, always warm and almost for ourselves. The room and the outdoor areas were spotless. Loved the fresh juices at breakfast and the pancakes. Great great value for the price. Super recommend! The downside, was the open-air bathroom where you could hear everything going on in the neighbor room and also whatever was happening on the back street; this kept disturbing us every morning because of the poor isolation. I recommend providing a map to the guests to get to the hotel using the main paved roads as this gives a better first impression of the island and the hotel location. We had to go through rough roads with the suitcase when we first arrived and wasn´t nice at all.

It was wonderful stay! Staff was so nice and helpful. The room is perfect for honeymoon or romantic stay! Design of the room is so pretty. Especially all of the lightning! It's really quite area near to the beach. Hotel reastaurant has a really good food in a good price. They have a floating breakfast. Greeting for Mirta and Anton!

The staff in the hotel are lovely and very helpful however we would not stay in this hotel again. We were shocked this hotel had such brilliant reviews on google and *********** really. Firstly the WiFi just did not work for us which is annoying when you specifically book somewhere you wifi. Secondly the breakfast was very VERY basic - we actually opted to pay for it elsewhere one day which shows you how much we didn’t want to eat it. Lastly the location - the island is full of drift roads and that’s exactly what the hotel is on - easy to get lost in - it is maybe a 5-10 min cycle to the strip which is fine in the day but at night there is minimal lightening so it wasn’t enjoyable

Het ontzettend positieve hier is de vriendelijkheid en behulpzaamheid van het personeel. Dit neemt echter niet weg dat er toch wel wat mindere punten zijn bij deze accommodatie. Het is behoorlijk achteraf gelegen en niet via een verharde weg te bereiken (lastig als het geregend heeft). We hadden een villa met zwembad dat naast het hoofdgebouw lag. Helaas vielen hier de stroom en het water een aantal keren uit terwijl dit niet het geval was in het hoofdgebouw. Er was redelijk wat achterstallig onderhoud die niet in verhouding staat tot de prijs. Voor het geld wat je hier moet betalen kun je betere accommodaties vinden op Gili. Tip aan de eigenaren is: investeer in het onderhoudt of verlaag de prijs, anders zie ik het somber in!

Nous avions réservé pour 3 jours au début mais nous nous sommes sentis amoureux de gili et de l'hôtel, nous avons donc prolongé de 3 nuits supplémentaires! Tout était parfait, c'est vraiment la meilleure expérience hôtelière de tous les temps! Le personnel est toujours au top, adorable, souriant, disponible 24h/24 et 7j/7. En fait ils nous manquent déjà car c'est la première fois pour nous que nous étions tristes de quitter un staff. Vous pouvez y aller sans hésiter ☺️ Je leur souhaite le meilleur car ce sont les gens les plus gentils. Mike
