Our car was parked in Spain, we arrived late Sunday night. The aircon unit hose wouldn't stay on the unit (lugs broken) and pumped heat into the apartment. Heat also belted out from the gaps around the mis-shapen perpex bodge-job on the wall, with silver duct-tape around it. My partner emailed ANASTASIA immediately, but there was no response. The apartment was 28° and humid (we needed to sleep, we are on a road-trip). We either stayed or walked back to Spain and sleep in the car with our bags, so we stayed - but couldn't sleep. There was one window, which we kept open, the temperature dropped to 24°, but still too warm and humid to sleep. ANASTASIA replied in the morning, starting with "thanks for letting us know", shortly followed by declaring "it'd been checked yesterday, we must have broken it" - see photos of broken unit and disgraceful taped plastic around the unit exhaust. Also, that we needed to get out, there was another booking at 2pm. I've since read a review berating the aircon failing in August, 2 months ago (apartment 20), so the DID know and are just sitting it out. NO apology, NO recompense (we'd have happily slept elsewhere), its had a financial knock-on our schedule. Nasty people, don't waste your money.
