The Arboreal Resort

Absolutely ridiculous experience. Pick up and drop vehicle wastes plenty of ur quality time of holiday. There wifi doesn't work. Reception closes from 7 pm until 9 AM in the morning. Kitchen opens only at 8:39 am. So don't expect any morning tea. No service level at all. Hopeless staff. Would not recommend such a highly prices property with no guest services.

I am myself from travel industry.. Looks only good in pictures put up by the management... Thought will try this new setup... But the first and foremost the resort last 4km is off roading so u cannot drive ur car down unless u wana break ur car... They come to pick u up but need to wait for at least 1/2 hrs... The room offered looked good but the room is not insulated as the heat is scorching and the ac fitted really did not do its job as they have all Glass walls it not at all curtained to Matain privacy of persons staying in as they are windows n door with no curtains... And it's so bright that u will definitely never get sleep (so if planning do carry ur eye mask) * very irratating.... The beds are super soft looks like they just put put cushion.. Will definitely give a back ache... Also the furniture is squuekky made by the a lot of irratating noise ... Also the bathroom have open un protected windows with no covering as it's a jungle area snakes or creatures can easily seakin The bathroom door only have a latch on the top so if kids are ***** they will never reach and be able to lock it... Food was OK that was served.... Pool is a plunge pool but not maintained... There are these Ac units right on the pool that give no peace when u wanna take a dip... Had to chkout within 2hrs without any concideration or refund from the management... Will never recommend to anyone... On the whole very very unprofessional setup.

The best thing about the place was its far away from the noisy city, nestled in the lap of forest cover of Sahyadri mountain ranges near Lonavla. The local flora, trees and bushes are maintained mostly in their natural conditions. The rooms are specious with good amnities and a magnificent view. All staff courteous and ready to help. Food adequate with limited choices. On the flip side, low on staff, maintainance issues and most importantly Not advisable for the Senior citizens or physically not so fit members. The last part of aporoach road of about 3.5 km leading to the property is NO road at all and extremely painful for travelling. The pick up truck sent by hotel property takes about 30 mins to reach the parking lot where you keep your vehicle. So you need to adventurous to book this place.

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lousy first impression of hotel due to the approach road. Everything else about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. The resort is not even built and not fully functional. They are operating without a reception with 10 cabins inside the forest There is no connectivity and no good room service The small half built cafeteria has limited breakfast We booked two rooms of which key was not given for one Safety issues in-terms of no lock on the balcony doors Absence of basic toiletries like dental kit and shower caps The private pools were dirty with unclean water The way to so called resort is not built yet from main city parking where people are made to leave their cars They charge a bomb for a resort thats not even made fully yet- Total rip off!

Had gone here to celebrate my hubby's bday as a surprise .. turned out to be a shock for me!! really shocked and disappointed. To get her we had to leave our car and take their small truck-type vehicle and go 40 mins on what felt like a camelback ride or a desert safari ..When we reached we were shocked to see a place which was still under construction. no reception area no restaurant,, fully surrounded by jungles very very scary like a horror movie where murders can easily happen at night..moreover the pool was like a bigger version of a bathtub and very dirty. Very very disappointed. The worst part is they are so expensive.. I paid 16000 for a room for one night almost as much as a five star that I was duped into thinking the resort is fully functional. please please do not go here . when I wanted to leave they were not even ready to leave us out then I started crying and said.." Are we in jail or something pls let us go.". and begged the driver to drop me till cloud 9 which is nearby.Thankfully there we met a kind truck driver who left us to radisson lonavla where I got a wonderful room with a bathtub for 10000 .. so at least my hubby birthday wasn't fully ruined.

It was an Excellent experience out of the busy city life this place rejuvenates and connects to the nature. It is so quite you will be taken to a another world. The birds chirping, the forest leaf sound in such a silence is to be experienced than expressed. We had a great time. Even food also was good. Also the network is zero which is the theme of this place to disconnect and connect to nature. Highly recommended to anyone.

Beautiful resort.. Nestled within a valley with scenic views around.. Rooms offer fantastic views and listening to birds early in the morning was awesome experience.. Food and service was good and rooms were aesthetically designed.. But the road to reach this beautiful destination is horrible.. Please dont visit this place if you dont own an SUV or you are not an experienced driver to drive in a very rough terrain. Even the roads are so tricky with insufficient signage that we got lost three times. They need to fix the rod onan immediate basis as commuting kills all the fun of visiting such a beautiful place.

There are some points to be appreciated & some which needs improvement. To be appreciated: 1. Rooms are good. View from balcony is awesome. You feel like staying in forest. 2. All tasted food was awesome. They have really good chef. (Breakfast was okay) 3. Even in April at night temperature was 21 degrees. It was cool enough. 4. Hotel staff was very polite & supportive. Oscar is very helpful. 5. We went there for anniversary & we requested for candle light dinner. Obviously at extra cost. It was our private space into the woods with minimal decoration but it was superb. Felt good. 6. Pawna lake is nearby & hotel staff takes you to sunset point at evening. Things need improvement: 1. They need to have some more large boards on the roads for directions. It becomes difficult to reach there & find the correct location at first go. 2. Breakfast needs to have more options 3. Little costly for pockets.
