Good service at the hotel, nice environment and a lot of space. Nice pool and a lot of beach-space. The two girls at Mondo café was super nice, and the people in the reception was very welcoming and happy to help :) The hotel is close to city Platanias

Want to give a big thumbs up to the bartenders Erik & Nikos at the main pool. Great service and really friendly! The hotel is very nice however it was really disappointing for the children that the Waterland the hotel had said would be open by June in fact isn’t even halfway finished for opening.

The bar men aris and Nikos kept us topped up with amazing drinks. The god father was the best cocktail. I'm not really a vodka drinker but Aris accommodated me by exchanging the vodka for gin. Thankyou so much but it's a definite addition needed for the menu. Gin, cucumber syrup and tonic. Happy holidays.

Very good food with quite but not perfect variation. Nice staff. Not great English in reception. Clean and nice pools. Plenty of pools and sunbeds to choose from. Beach is close and good availability of sun beds. Didn't open the closest (to our room) snack bar until Wednesday and we arrived on Saturday. So we had to walk 5 minutes since most of the all inclusive stuff was next to the restaurant. TV is terrible and locked behind their own system with no apps like Netflix. Had Chromecast with me but it wouldn't connect to the wifi because of limitations made by the hotel. Room was too small for 3 people with 28-30 square meters we should have upgraded. Overall a nice and well maintained and relatively modern hotel with close proximity to the beach and plenty of nice pools. Decent rooms. Good service and good food. We arrived around 12:15 but couldn't check in closer to 15. I know it's their check in time but we had traveled for 10 hours or so with small children and wanted desperately to check in. It was 33 degrees. Super disappointed by this but the one to blame is probably Apollo. Which means I won't be ordering with apollo again

The pool bar whos the best Ioanna and Aris made the best drinks ever. Vwry good food, every day fresh fruits, live cooking. It's pity the aquapark is still underconstruction, but the swim pool is very pleasure, and the sea is clouse to the hotel. Hotel is near very fine and attractive attravtion off Crete.

Placement is great. Perfect spot with view of the ocean from the pool area. Clean facilities and rooms and friendly crew. This is our second time here and we still enjoy it very much. The atmosphere is small and intimate, which we really like. The food is great and authentic. One of the best things, in my view, is the poolbar crew and vibe. Aris is a very experienced bartender and he is having a huge influence on the young bartenders, like Ioanna and Olga. They are mirroring his mentality and this is great. Joyfull to order drinks, they don’t just serve boring premixed drinks (which a lot of other hotel have), they actually make them from scratch. The kids (8 and 7 years) love to order drinks at the bar (non alchohol). I can’t recommend this place enough. By far the best bartenders I have experienced. We will be back at Caldera Beach next year.

Stay here in May half-term, the hotel had many positives. Food we thought was excellent, this included the included Greek restaurant and the additional grill restaurant, both was very good. Genuine restaurant experience. The bar staff were extremely friendly, the pool and location next to the beach was ideal. Rooms were very nice and location good. Plenty of sunbeds, no need to reserve one early we would go to the pool after breakfast each day and easily get one. Only negatives was the responses to the sandstorm, whilst this weather is completely out of control the response isn’t. The main pool wasn’t started to be cleaned until 12pm and was out for the whole day. The rain stopped previous night. There was an issue with the cleaning of our room, but reception management team dealt with this well, I would say if you had an problems on holiday they would resolve it, which isn’t always the case.

Hotel was spotless staff working hard to keep it that way room was adequate if weather turned bad only disappoint was the TV being small and dated and not that many English speaking channels we been before to create and had plenty more channels in English maybe better if they have smart tvs ?any how food was plenty even though some meals where not that hot? Breakfast was fine could do with a faster toaster bus to the harbour took ruffley 45 mins only 2 euros tho 23 in taxis pools were good and clean as we was leaving a water park was being built on to the hotel think kids will love it (not sure about adults) family holiday but imagine be very busy at peak times ,excursions where good from the little train pick up outside the hotel, we went o. Several went with jet2 excursion enal not much difference In price but if you have a large family could all add up would we go again to create yes but not this hotel perfect for families only we think

We have been here many times, once again worth the visit. Hotel is very tood for families, many different activities and lots of different pools. Water park is soon to be ready! Service was very good and a special thanks to Aris and Ionna at the pool bar near the main pool, they are the top! Service at the pool bar is Excellent! Will come back soon
