Sunlight Apartments

My husband and myself booked a 2 week break in September 22. We stayed in a bottom floor room with outside area and private balcony. We opted for half board. It was not buffet style everything was served to our table. Breakfast every day consisted of a cup of tea toast jam cheese ham honey boiled egg and yoghurt. Tea time was a different starter every night and an option of 4 to 5 main meals were offered that we could choose from. Not being very adventurous with food I never would have chosen to eat most of the Greek dishes but the food was absolutely beautiful every day. Makis the owner and his family were attentive and friendly. The hotel was right opposite the beach where there were plenty of sunbeds for Sunlight use only. There was no charge to use them but all customers had to purchase a drink. Marcos the waiter or Makis would take orders for food or drinks throughout the day. Rooms were basic but spotlessly cleaned daily by Lisa. Towels and bedding changed daily also. Room had aircon fridge TV and safe. We had everything we needed for our stay the only struggle was the shower was a hand held one but we managed to use 2 coat hangers to hold shower and it worked perfectly. Georgioupolis is a lovely little village with everything just a few minutes walk from hotel. 2 supermarkets and plenty of restaurants and shops. A couple in our 60s and 70s it was a lovely enjoyable relaxing holiday with beautiful Greek authentic food thank you Makis family and staff.
