Nice hotel with parking (extra at £5 per day) Rooms were cold so had to put heater on all night which wasn't a problem. Staff very friendly. We stayed on floor 6 top floor room 602 and would definitely consider staying again.

Extremely busy hotel with coach loads of people arriving. These tend to be mini breaks for the elderly. Waiting to get served or order food at the bar on an evening is terrible due to the unmanageable influx of people. Sat and eat my evening meal on a sofa as that was all that was available due to people sat at tables that weren’t even dining (these people were waiting to be called into a function room to eat their meal as a collective). Parking is expensive, both in the council run car park and indeed the hotels one. This hotel is on the quayside but to be clear…….. the opposite side of the river to the busy quay. With this in mind I can’t quite understand the expensive parking and expensive food and drink prices. The hotel rooms are really clean, very modern and extremely comfortable. The hotel itself is amazing, my only criticism was the hotel was seriously under staffed and bar food and drinks expensive for what they were.

Difficult to get to as roadworks and confusing one way system. Website advertised car park for overnight stay £5 but actual charge is £15. Room had large glass window but on ground floor overlooking a road. No possibility of fresh air so noisy air conditioning meant uncomfortable sleep. Mini bar with nothing in it. Cup of coffee £4.95. Staff appeared fairly indifferent as many tourists coming and going. Would not recommend as other nearby hotels offer free car parking and much easier to arrive at by road.

I got a wonderful trip in Newcastle!Great service and views!Also they have a free car park.

Decent for a 2 star workers were no where to be seen though and tv were very small

Hotel is good location for trip to Metro Centre - approx 10 mins walk. Hotel is right next to TGI Fridays, and a wee local restaurant called the Skiff Inn. Would highly recommend the Skiff Inn - food is delicious. Hotel is within walking distance of Asda and Aldi (see photo) and other retainers within the retail park nearby. Staff were very helpful during our stay. Breakfast was good both mornings. Ice machine in lobby is fab if you want drinks/water in your room. Would definitely stay again.
