Hotel Villa Florida & Suite Apartments

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Villa Florida in a suite overlooking the lake. The hotel is beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean. All the staff were very helpful and gave excellent advice on restaurants and boat hire. The location of the hotel is great, we didn’t have a car but the old town was a short walk away with many restaurants. We hope to return another time in the future

I can absolutely confirm all the wonderful 5* reviews here for Hotel Villa Florida which is a small, 28 room family owned hotel. As a travel advisor planning many trips for clients, this hotel is the epitome of old school luxurious hotel comfort. We stayed in the Villa Rosenhof annex which houses the deluxe suites and at over 400 sf. our suite had a bedroom that was extremely spacious with two large wardrobes with interior lighting. In addition, we had a large living room with a desk, large dining table with an extra twin bed AND a stylish sofa and matching upholstered chairs. The breakfast terrace overlooking the water was breathtaking in addition to a large pool with a bar serving a light lunch and aperitifs. There is also a small pool for kids in a neighboring grassy area. The breakfast buffet has many hot items as well as lots of pastries, fruit and local delicacies. Finally, on our last day, we met a young family from Denmark who has stayed at the hotel on 4 separate occasions so I can only guess there are many other repeat guests. I hope to be one of them! Hotel Villa Florida is everything you hope for in an Italian escape—intimate, serene, and full of heart. The charm flows not just from the breathtaking views of Lago di Garda, but from the gracious care Gianmario, Francesca and their family extend to every guest. Their genuine warmth creates a sense of belonging that was felt within a day upon entering the resort. One of the highlights of our stay was the cooking class with Chef Stefano. He didn’t just teach us recipes—he shared traditions, stories, and techniques that have since become staples in our own kitchen. The flavors of both the cooking experience as well as the breakfast prepared by Chef Stefano and team linger long after the trip. Each breakfast included an incredible variety of fresh, flavorful dishes that felt both indulgent and nourishing. From homemade pastries and seasonal fruits to savory options that changed daily. Enjoying it all while overlooking the sparkling lake made the experience feel like something out of a dream. All staff members were always ready with spot-on restaurant recommendations around Gardone Riviera—from cozy trattorias to lakeside spots we never would’ve found on our own. They also helped us navigate the local marine transportation, making it easy and enjoyable to explore nearby villages by boat. Their guidance and recommendations for visiting Monte Baldo via Malcesine turned into a seamless, memorable adventure. This is more than a hotel—it’s a place where memories are made and returned to often in thought. We can’t wait to visit again.

What a delicious place to be for a short holiday, we spend 7 days in this lovely place, and we enjoyed every second of it. Everything is pure luxury and gives you the feeling to relax and enjoy your time. We will come back for sure!! Highlights are the comfortable beds, beautiful gardens and the best breakfast i ever took, with the great views over lake garda.

We loved our 3 night stay at Hotel Villa Florida. We booked direct through their website for the best pricing and they were kind enough to provide us with a complimentary upgrade. All staff we encountered were very welcoming and friendly, with special mention to Sara and the owner. The room was very spacious and clean and all amenities we needed were provided. Magnificent views of the lake from our room as well as from the breakfast terrace. We have enjoyed some wonderful breakfasts so far on this trip but the breakfast and service provided here were exceptional - so much choice on offer. Complimentary car parking on site and within walking distance of restaurants. Highly recommended.

Very friendly and accommodating staff was overwhelmed with the kindness of the owners of the hotel the location was easy to get to breakfast was fantastic. Could not ask for better place to stay. We will definitely return one day. Room was fantastic well decorated and very very well kept
