Agriturismo Cà Ridolfi

The agriturismo is one hour's drive from Bologna. The owners run farms of fruit threes, and they rent out 3 rooms in the end of the big building, in which they also live. The rooms are all very nice, in a genuine rustic italian style. Breakfast is served by Gianna, the owner, who is a really nice and host. She bakes most of the bakery herself, and they are great. She serves their own produced peach juce, fantastic. You can also order a 3-course home-made dinner. We did, and we very much recommend it. It’s in a very quiet area, and you really need a car to enjoy your stay. Lots of great places to see within 1 hour drive, from San Marino in the south, to Ravenna, Ferrara, Faenza and the great ‘borgo’ of Brisighella. For those who like dogs, they have a really nice golden retriever Arno who meets you when you arrive and loves to be patted.

Siamo stati ieri da Ca' Ridolfi per festeggiare la Santa Cresima di nostra figlia, assieme ad alcuni amici. Che dire? Cibo ottimo, vini ottimi, da gustare sotto un pergolato che si apre verso un bellissimo giardino; un richiamo ad atmosfere lontane e molto suggestive (pare di essere nelle campagne inglesi..). La sensazione non è mai quella di essere in un locale commerciale, ma a casa di qualche amico che generosamente ti mette a disposizione questa meraviglia. L'ospitalità e la gentilezza di Gianna (che cura tutta la realizzazione dei piatti) di suo marito e di sua nuora sono impagabili. E poi c'è Aaron, un golden retriever che ti porta via il cuore assieme a tutto il resto. Non possiamo far altro che super-consigliarlo ed augurare agli ottimi padroni di casa tutto il meglio per la loro attività!
