The Postcard Galle

Dear all travelers, the Postcard hotel in Galle is something you need to visit, not just for very nice colonial design but there is more important things, and these are peole there, manager Mr. Sing and his staff are more than friendly, they are really like your family, becuase they are family. Small nice hotel with 10 rooms ( recomend to choose one with jacuzzi ) Also you can have your breakfast whenever you want doesnt matter is if 2pm or 6 am morning. They also prepare for us snack for our trips for free, and every afternoon you can enjoy nice coctails near to swiming pool. Also the y cook very nice meals , but not only what is on menu but everything what you wish . THis place is place where you can not find any problem instead for which coctail you will choose. We also have a chance to meet very nice people from India here which make friendship with us and recomended us another The Postcard hotels, and after that experience we are sure we will visit all of them. One more thing, also New Years Eve there was full of music and nice food, and they surpriced us with bottle of Prosseco on Midnight. Postcard Galle is a wonderful luxury boutique property situated close to the Galle fort & overlooking a serene lagoon. The rooms are spacious, amenity rich and the tranquil vibe of the place is utmost relaxing. BharatVir (property manager) was a gracious and hospitable host throughout our stay, he went above & beyond to ensure we enjoy the best of Galle. Arshad & Amit (F&B) took great care to offer some delicious local dishes which further elevated our experience. Highly recommend this place!

The postcard, is a quiet boutique hotel, with the most friendly staff, they will make everything beautiful for you. This old world hotel is quite new & has all the mod cons including a swing pool. The food is top class! Chefs take their time to create every dish personally for you. Nothing was too much trouble & we loved it. Bharatvir the hotel manager is a top man, making the sure the hotel & his guests are all completely happy. The room staff are so kind, they even left Linda little gifts on her bed when we retired for the night. It was a special occasion for us, celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary & with that, one night we landed back to the room & there was a chocolate cake waiting for us, I ordered some Ceylon tea to the room & we had ourselves a big slice 😁 Summing up, fab hotel & fab people running it.

Excellent hotel with great food and superb service. Bharatvir and his team were fantastic and ensured our experience was extremely pleasant. They were always available and accommodating. The property itself is really beautiful and the service of the staff just adds to the experience. Highly recommend.

They spoil you- whether it's the food, the comfort, or the warmth of the staff. The property is a little away from the main tourist area yet close to all the possible beautiful spots. From the moment you enter the property to when you leave, expect a super personalised experience. The quality of the stay was top-notch- no compromises whatsoever. Bharatvir (the manager) and his team are phenomenal.

I traveled by myself to this amazing hotel. I felt right at home the moment I walked in. The kind of hospitality and care, consideration and attention to detail is beyond anything I have experienced before. The view is spectacular, the place is secluded, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and everyone always has a smile. The food was all excellent too, as were the delectable cocktails- try the one with arrack! Every night I would come back to a cute towel sculpture on my bed- a rabbit, an elephant, a turtle… always made me laugh. I spent hours sitting on my verandah staring at the ocean. If you want to get away from the madness, this is for you. Quiet, private, beautiful, calm, and full of a warmth that feels like “home”. I would like to mention by name a few staff who made my stay so special for me: Bharatvir - the manager who was knowledgeable, extremely considerate, and knows exactly how to make a good moment better. Sandaruwan- always smiling and the artist behind the towel animals. Ramiz - always so attentive at meals, remembering how I like my coffee and fruits. Sandeep - the chef who kept creating some amazing dishes. There were many more who all contributed towards making my vacation truly enjoyable. I will always remember the Postcard, Galle as one of most favourite vacations ever.
