Although it takes you about 15 minutes to get
'guesthouse' from Galle-railway station,
along the main street on the way to
'guesthouse ',there is a big supermarket
with eat-in space.
So,it will be convenient for you to go shopping
the daily necessities and foods.
A friendly owner runs this guesthouse.
As he seemed to take an interest in
studying about the foreign cultures,
especially East Asian.
I was so absorbed in a conversation with
him until late at night.
In the guest house property,
there is not a big swimming pool for guests,
but also a lot of tropical tree...
for instance,Guava,Cinnamon , Mango
trees and so on.
Maybe you will feel like
you have a something of an adventure
while taking a turn in the garden.
A guest room l spent was a large one with a
mosquito net and an electric fan.
Although my room doesn't have air-
conditioning,
it is relatively comfortable for me to stay in one-night.
If I have a chance to go on a trip in Galle,
I would like to visit here again.

We arrived to find the house was not as suggested in the photos. It appears that no one has stayed here for quite some time. Dust covered everything in the main shared living area along with mouldy cushions. This area is not mosquito proof so unable to sit there. Every room had something mouldy in it. Air conditioning on it’s last legs in the bedroom. Incredibly disappointing as it could be so good with the house itself just needing some care and location being so close to town.

Lovely clean room in a quiet location - close to the town but not right in the centre. The large pool was also excellent. Great value for money!

Cozy apartment with clean linens and comfortable beds. New air conditioners in two bedrooms. There are fans on the ceiling. There is a washing machine with cold water. TV in the living room. From time to time, flocks of monkeys jump on the palm trees around the house, but they do not interfere with life. Nearby there is a supermarket, pharmacy, and a rooftop pool at the Dena pizzeria. The owner Batia is a responsive person and will help you with all questions; he speaks good English and works as a guide. You can buy a tour of the island from him. I recommend
