charm, good taste, great service, quiet : in brief good vibes !!!

We just returned from a 10 night stay at good vibes. It is a wonderfully quiet, relaxing place with a 'right in the jungle' feel. We watched monkeys flying through the trees from our balcony and made friends with a big salamander who lurked by the (much appreciated) table tennis table. The pool is absolutely gorgeous and everything is so EASY! Niroshan the hotel manager, has to be the most helpful, smiley, relaxed and accommodating hotel manager we have ever encountered! We had to change ours plans a few times regarding how long we were staying and he was always flexible helpful and with a total 'Can do' attitude. We also wanted to acknowledge the wonderful Tuk Tuk driver the hotel uses, Indika, we took his what's app number and he became out 'go to' when out and about. He was an absolutely lovely man, pointing out interesting things on our journeys around Galle as well as being super reliable and kind. My only two small feedbacks would be I would have really appreciated a kettle and cups etc in the bedrooms rather than one communal one in the lounge. Also, the kitchen in the evenings was very slow, often we waited almost one hour for our food and the quality was variable depending on who was cooking. The set menus were very good and came quickly and quality was excellent but they only happened twice in our stay. If you want a very chilled out, family friendly retreat in nature to relax in while you explore the amazing beaches for surfing, easy access to galle and all it offers, this is a fantastic place to do this.

Exceptional stay in the middle of the nature at Good Vibes! Perfect to disconnect! Beautiful connection with Cool Vibes by the ocean for the surf where we went every day. Staff if so nice, food is so good and owners so great and welcoming. A fabulous stay we will remember!

Amazing trip in Sri Lanka with family and friends. Good Vibes is the best location to feel disconnected in the middle of wild nature still close to beach and Unawatuna. Kids had their best life enjoying the surf lessons at Cool Vibes. Warm welcome, great food and best hosts made our journey memorable. Merci for creating this little peace of heaven.

The beautiful garden around the villa gives you directly a good feeling just before discovering the house and rooms lovely decorated with all comfort. And finally meet the team whose ensure that your stay will be memorable! In addition we enjoyed another place @Coolvibesbeachhouse related to the villa where we had great food and time on the beach (Surfers most welcome) Thanks a lot to the Good vibes team for their smiles and care. Hello, we had a wonderful stay with you! Niroshan is always there to answer our questions, make calls, recommend a restaurant or book an activity. It was really simple and pleasant. We are fans! 😍 The room by the pool was a real luxury, and the children enjoyed it! Clean, staff always attentive. What a pleasure! Juliette preciously took her peacock feather, offered by the gardener, back to Belgium. 🤩 I can add that we ate superbly, both with gargantuan breakfasts and in light lunch or dinner mode (special mention of the Tuna - Sesame 😋 ) And that we even received a special salted / sausage breakfast to satisfy everyone's tastes at our request. Fantastic place for relaxing, watching the birds and a dip in the pool. The staff were extremely friendly, lovely breakfast and accommodation spotless. Great air conditioning and mosquito nets supplied. We would not hesitate to stay here again if we are lucky enough to return to beautiful Sri Lanka! We had the most wonderful stay at this charming hotel located just a short drive from Galle and the stunning beaches of Unawatuna and around. From the moment we arrived, Niroshan and team made us feel right at home. The property itself is beautifully maintained, with cozy, spotless rooms and a lush garden. If you’re looking for a tranquil yet activity-filled getaway in southern Sri Lanka, this place is a must-visit. The owners Pascaline and Barbara were very helpful in giving us activity recommendations and tips which made our stay even nicer as a large group of 32 friends! We can’t wait to return!
