Location: 4.8/5 (away from the main city by around 10-15 mins in a Tuk Tuk. Rooms: 5/5 (Jungle Loft - Monkey Villa) Very well done up and Neat. A lot of space in the rooms and you will enjoy opening the French doors everyday to enjoy the birds and greenery. Host: 5/5 Friendly and kind. Indika was very friendly to talk to and has been a good host. The property is built over a period of time by Indika and Alex. It's a beautifully done up home with simplicity - which we loved. They can cater to Vegetarian guests (Indian especially) if you love Sri Lankan cuisine. The String hoppers we had here were the best I had in my entire stay in SriLanka( a big big thanks to Indika's wife). Hot water in the shower is perfect. The tub has a lovely view. You will love the birds chirping around during the day. We were blessed to have 0 mosquitoes in the room during our stay. Note: it may take a little time to get a tuk tuk. The Jungle Loft and specifically the peacock villa is very very beautiful. It's quiet with much nature in the surroundings. We enjoyed the gardens and the animals. Although we arrived quite late, we were still able to dine at the lodge. It's mentioned before...the quality of the food is fantastic. The pool is lovely and the service explicable, both Indika and Praneeth.

Our stay in the Jungle Loft in Galle was nothing short of PERFECT! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and genuine kindness. The place itself is stunning—spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and surrounded by breathtaking nature. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Waking up to the sound of birds and the monkey climbing up the trees was incredible. The pool area was fantastic, and the entire property had a peaceful, relaxing vibe. The staff/ owners went above and beyond to make our stay special! The food was absolutely delicious, with fresh local ingredients and a great variety of options. This was one of the best experiences we’ve had while traveling, and we would 100% recommend this place to anyone visiting Galle. We can’t wait to come back! It’s incredibly beautiful here. The room is wonderfully equipped with every detail thoughtfully designed, and the people are exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The boho style creates a relaxed and charming atmosphere right in the middle of the lush jungle. The unique combination of natural surroundings and stylish decor makes this place a true paradise—tranquil, inspiring, and absolutely stunning. A perfect retreat for anyone seeking beauty, peace, and unforgettable moments.

Our fan made awful noise, they fixed it. Gave me lighter and incense sticks - • The villa’s name on Airbnb and maps/other platforms differs. It’s listed as The Jungle Loft, but the price on Airbnb is noticeably higher. • Staines on the pillows (boticed them only because linen was wet and has to be changed), cheap bed linen • Toilet with a transparent door, feels like you’re exposed • No spare towels, at the pool they suggest reusing yesterday’s ones • Weak Wi-Fi • Ordered spring rolls from their menu during the day, were told they’d be ready in 50 minutes (already a long wait). After 50 minutes, the food wasn’t ready. Waited another 10 minutes, then were told it would take another 10. In total, it took 70 minutes for spring rolls, and they only appeared after an Uber Eats courier arrived (surprise!). Why not just say they don’t cook themselves?! • Messaging on WhatsApp is pointless; they rarely read messages. So you should come to reception each time you have question or need smth. It may be difficult as there are stairs without lights
