The space was renovated in 2019 and includes new furniture and decor. All rooms have a comfy queen memory foam mattress. Only 1 bath, but the bathroom sink area is separated from the toilet/shower for faster getting ready with multiple folks. The neighborhood is walking distance to downtown and the awesome outdoor option of Depot Park. The entire place is yours, including the interior house as well as the half of the yard on your side of the duplex. Washer/dryer available upon request with a fee. Fully available to answer questions but won't be around in person - the place is all yours. This home is on the edge of Porter's Community, an "up & coming," multi-cultural / diverse neighborhood located a block from the newly created Depot Park and centrally between UF campus and downtown Gainesville, just south of the newly developed Innovation District. This house is in a great location for conveniently getting to all major places of interest in Gainesville, including UF campus, Innovation district, downtown, midtown, Gator Football Stadium, Shands, the airport, and more. Porter's has experienced a number of milestones over the past year. It's central location has led it to become one of the most up and coming areas in Gainesville, with community tended gardens, drastically reduced crime rates and a "family-vibe" throughout. Porter's is a safe area, however, as we would in any downtown environment, we advise our guests to remain cautious of your surroundings at night, keep valuables out of sight, and keep the doors/windows locked when away. 2 parking spots out front. Walk to Depot Park and/or downtown. Uber also works well, or walk a few blocks to catch a bus or bike to campus or the trails. It's the *Left* house in a duplex; the other side also rents on airBNB but it's totally private. NO parties - AC, please don't put below 73 otherwise it'll freeze up. - Only 2 cars can park in the driveway (maybe 3 compacts). Additional cars must be parked elsewhere, but not in neighbors yard or blocking. - Pets are welcome but you must register the pet in advance on AirBNB to pay the pet fee.
